It is, but banked for a little bit for me to land Code of Laws for Caste first. Although if Ginger continues to be this peaceful...

Amicalola is depending on these cities for his whole economy, so makes sense that he'd defend them intensely. Okay, I'll be back later.

This game, man. Noufrouger is the single nicest and friendliest rabid paranoiac imaginable. Gav is updating, must be a real war.

Ginger meanwhile is going to be building up an army conventionally without the whip.

I could split Ginger with Gavagai if NOWFROWGER WOULD LET GAV MOVE WEST. Only 8 cities, amazing wonders.

Settled Collin, bringing me up to ten cities. Just a temporary delay of the curve, Ginger, now I have two more cities than you.

I also, uh, have more cities on that island than on the mainland. How screwed would I have been without that bonus green land?

Such a wonderful silly game.

Now and Gav are at peace, I've asked Superdeath and Gav if they want to dogpile Ginger in 3t. No idea if it'll work, but he's in Serfdom and not yet at knights, this is the only window this era.

No bites yet. C'mon, free dogpile guys.

My first silk plantation is done (dyes too). This lovely land is going to let me trade so so many luxuries, assuming my fellow players are able to actually get extras loose. If I could just dogpile I'd be actually able to win.

Tied for third in cities now btw.

Two paths. I don't think I'm getting movement on the dogpile front. I have a decent little mini-stack here and I can toss a G3 force down to fork three cities (including the capital) down on hills, but sans help I think Ginger can definitely stop this.

If we peace, then that's ten turns where emergency slaving isn't 100% needed. Plan right now is to quickly get to Caste/OR and then fire a golden age. With my back against the wall all game my infra sucks, but a golden age should be able to land me a couple Great People and either Optics or Guilds on tap. All well and good but not sure where else to go unless geopolitics fire right.

Don't have high hopes, but let's see what can be done.

Nasty fight at the gates of Dune shaping up. All I have going for me is a much better siege train; two of my catapults are actually promoted shock to protect the horses from Phalanx. If Ginger (ne Civac) wants to take the direct fight most die rolls have us mutually exhausted. His bad road system is definitely helpful but if he's got a big force of flankers then I'm gone.

The Dune attack is ultimately a distraction, though. With luck he's not going to be able to protect both his holy city and his capital from the half a dozen G3 raiders that get disgorged next turn, particularly if he burns all his horse archers in a fight outside of Dune. This is potentially a crippling attack, I offered a 30gpt peace treaty if he recognizes this danger.
