Just in case, i sent a diplo to Sandover asking him for troops. I offered to buy a few Cuirassers or Calvary, along with a request to borrow troops. I hope he does what he said before that he'll loan me troops in the event of war for revenge

So, the last time i checked my save, the only way i could be attacked was through Mobility Calvary. I have a suspicion he has a lot of those.

Ok, i opened the save. What? 40 Knights + 8 Riflemen are on my border.

All is not bleak though. I have enough forces to stall the few turns i need...

Goddamn i never faced that many troops before in my life. Well, let's see. I don't have enough troops to kill off the stack at overwatch nexus, so i probably have to withdraw.

I'll make my stand at the next city, gathering troops at a fork there. They can move to reinforce 2 cities from Knights. If the Riflemen move in a stack, frankly, i can't fight that off. Lighthouse is building a Galleon to be completed in two turns, It will launch a sneak attack on Angkor Wat. 2 Maces and a Knight are going.

Well, that's all. Without Sandover's help, i am in a bad position. But i'm getting Nationalism in 3 turns at 100%, and 1 turn for Anarchy. In 4 turns i'll be able to draft/Whip every city...

To death if needed.

Honestly, I'm simply outnumbered. I'm quite good military wise, but facing that sort of army is just unbelievable.

Of course, that doesn't mean i'm playing possum. Currently, i've killed 8-11 Knights, in exchange for 5 Pikes. I believe myself better in strategy, definitely not Speaker kind but I believe that i can and will make Khmer pay.

Lighthouse Point has just finished a Galleon, the sneak attack on Angkor Wat will commence in two turns.

And yes, i'm building Oxford behind. I'm not giving up.

Now, this looks bleak, but Sandover has promised full assistance. He is massing his forces at Lighthouse Point. All he asked me to do is hold onto Ravenholm for 4-5 turns. I believe i can do that.

My reaction: This is playing out perfectly!

Yeah, i lost two cities. So what? Sandover and Khmer, my two neighbours, are soon going to fight each other while i sit there. Due to negotiations with Sandover before, he said since he can't keep any cities there, he'll pass them to me.

So basically if everything goes right i help out a bit (which is not a lot because you know, Knights and Prats against Riflemen), two the powers whack themselves silly, and i get to reap the rewards.
