Random question, how many replacements are we going to keep around and what do we want to hire? I usually keep about half the amount that are on the sky ranger(5). So that leaves us with 45 to split between scientists and engineers.

I'm, thinking 30 scientists and 15 engineers. We don't have a whole lot of stuff to build right now. Pausing until people can chime in.

I would probably go 40-10, myself, but 35-15 is also fine.

We need 5-10 guys as the BTeam.

Once we start with armors/rifles/and medkits. We'll probably need those engineers.

Within the game, press control and F5 together.

If living capacity is up to 100, we probably only need 20 soldiers (assuming 10+tank loadout for SkyRanger) with 10 wounded/reserves.

Should leave 80 for scientists / engineers - I'd probably go 50/30 split whilst third living quarters are building. This still allows good manufacturing speed which we'll need for laser rifles/medikits/personal armour.

Third living quarters can then go all scientist if everyone's happy with that

That's fine I suppose if we want a full B Team. I also bought 8 stun rods and rifle ammo. Also unequipped proxy mines since I don't use them much (no XP).

The proximity grenades are most useful for terror missions (covering doorways) and base defence. I'm not a big user of them myself but wasn't sure everyone else felt.

We're unlikely to need the base defence side until at least March unless we shoot down a lot of UFOs near our base (landed ones don't count towards encouraging them to actively scout for our base) so you could probably sell a few if needed
