Seems they're okay to continue. Hopefully we should get going again soon.

Logged in right now as Realms Beyond, unpaused and made a bunch of demographics screenshots with various production, food, and GNP levels.
Then paused again, until Civplayers make their decision. More C&D will hopefully be coming soon from me. kjn Wrote:Then paused again, until Civplayers make their decision. As far as I can see they already said they are ok with it. Don't think there's anything we can do, since CivPlayers already said they're OK with it. And it seems unlikely that anyone would try to cheat so blatantly on turn 2. But if it happens again maybe sunrise should offer again to take over the hosting.

I think it was not deliberate. With all respect, they would have waited longer and chosen a different team if they had nefarious intent.
Let's just move on.
I don't think Sunrise can host the game anyway, until PB5 ends. Isn't there a problem hosting two different pitboss games with mods at the same time?
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
I agree that saying nothing was the right course. I am still concerned about the extreme levels of incompetence displayed by some of the other teams. I can't ever remember another game where we had to reload on Turn 0 due to a mis-move and had the host log into the wrong civ on Turn 2. Not even in the Apolyton game!
It's also a terrible sign that UniversCiv has been a near-total no show in the first two turns of the game. What are the odds this game actually finishes? Five percent? Some kind of negative percentage?

Warrior moved NE and revealed the river spring as expected. And Bananas which will come in handy once we settle the jungle. A suspiciously bare hill to the E and some more hills and mountains in the fog. Next movement will be 1E. ![]() And here the demographics. ![]() KJN will have more to say on those, I think. Only thing that stands out immediately is the land number. The creative civ has popped the 2nd ring to now 20 land tiles and 1 lake tile. Its CivFrance and they have not logged in and reshuffled any tiles yet. mh
