Pottery came in. I started working the Copper in Makemake.
Haumea on the eve of the whip:
No, I'm not going to micromanage it so the food box is exactly half full when the Granary is whipped.

Anyway, after Haumea was whipped, I put out a Warrior while growing to Size 3, then swapped to a Settler. It completes T44. Decided not to whip and stack up more unhappiness.
Makemake will put out a Worker once the Granary is done, since the Farm isn't done for growing.
Pluto will probably regrow to Size 4 and put out some Warriors, I'm actually starting to have problems with unhappiness due to only having 3 Warriors.

I just realized it's been 7 turns since the last picture! Time to fix that.
Ceres is probably going somewhere around here:
(Ignore the Spearman build in Makemake, I switched it to a Worker) It grabs Ivory, a couple of grassland riverside cottages, and provides a nice base to start the colonization of those offshore islands. Granted, I probably won't settle those colonies until after the mainland fills up. I hope there's seafood there.
And wow, that's a big forest belt in the west. I need to start chopping that stuff near Makemake.

This turn, I started building a Cottage on Eris' Spices. Since Eris doesn't have any riverside tiles, an extra commerce from the Spices will be nice.
Nothing of interest was revealed near the Wheat and Ivory, so I'll settle Ceres 1S of the Ivory, barring seafood appearing. I sent a Worker near Makemake to build a road in the Forest between Makemake and Ceres.
On a more general note, I need a better road network and more Workers (that's always the problem, isn't it?) Pluto, Haumea, and Eris are about to hit the happy cap again, so that takes care of the Workers.
Small issue is that Pluto can't be whipped until T46, so I'll either have to stomach the whip anger or slow-build something at Size 4. Slow build a Worker, then whip a second one, or whip a Settler?
Haumea will probably whip a Worker. Eris will probably dump hammers into a Worker until the whip anger wears off. Makemake will be growing, since the Farm is almost complete.

Re: Pluto, grow it into unhappiness, and then double-whip the frowny faces away.

Thanks. Pluto growing to Size 5. Eris is going to crash against the happy cap soon...
Met the third civ, Nakor. His warrior wandered out pof the jungles. He's still at 3 cities.
I've decided to simply whip Workers, I need mnore of them.

About time for one of those city by city overviews:
(A Warrior will enter the city next turn to get rid of 'military protection' unhappiness)
I pretty clearly need more Workers to build more Cottages, so that's what will be built.

Makemake is the most feast-or-famine city site I've ever seen.

Really? What others do you know of?
I'm pretty sure those grassland forests to the west of the Rice aren't riverside. I'm leaning towards farming the other floodplain at Makemake to get a +5 food surplus with the Mines worked.
I probably misplayed the resources a bit, I have Gold but it isn't where it's needed due to a lack of roads. Not sure whether splitting the Copper and Gold between two different cities would have been better. In retrospect, chopping the forest at Haumea to shave one turn off of the Settler might not have been the best idea.
Those signs are all wrong, Pluto, Haumea, and Eris are all going to whip Workers, while Makemake will grow.

This turn was uneventful. The Oracle was built in a far away land, and mackoti's score shot up. I think he built it.
Eris is running into happiness issues:
Demographics:
Crop Yield is still nice and Population is improving. Land Area is slipping. I noticed that I usually underbuild cottages, and it shows in last place GNP.
