[SPOILERS] joey and scooter's thread: FUN THINGS ONLY

Don't worry about it, I'm sure most of them don't feel that way. The discussion was more about how misclicks might be handled in the future. smile

1.) Max research worked; I need to hit Currency ASAP and I think I have just enough to do it
2.) Production switched to a settler in Cedar Point, Barracks in Peewee's Playhouse (max food for growth), Axeman in Carnival
3.) Zoo should grab the pig to grow next turn
4.) Stony point is whipped, and works the fish
5.) galley moves towards the stone
6.) worker near moonshine roads to the point marked; no trees should complete chops, everything is a prechop. workers near cedar point should farm, workers near chilly seaworld should mine+road.

Thank you!

Logging in now, will follow instructions and let you know if there are any issues. smile

So I presume the Worker on a forest near Carnival with 1 turn to chop moves to another forest without roading?

Also presume your Worker on the Galley unloads onto the stone.

Done.

Done. Also switched grassland river -> Silk tile, as no difference in food-hammers but +1 commerce.

Done. Presume you're leaving the Worker unfinished so you can overflow food into whichever wonder you're planning on picking up.

Also thought there wasn't much reason to be working the grassland-forest now that the Worker's at 59/60, so switched to the Spice tile.

Done. Also, Worker unloaded as you had marked for him to start a fort T86.

I note you have marked the Stone fort to be completed in 6 turns. However, building the Fort takes 10 turns. I presume you're intending on building either Pyramids or HG soon, so this may be relevant.

All done. Worker on the prechopped forest moved to another - no roading.

State of the empire (north) - could switch Fur to Silver in Seaworld:

State of the empire (south) - note the 10 turn fort starting next turn:

Ah, thanks for playing and thanks for the note about the fort. Coulda sworn those were 6T builds... looks like I'll need to move another worker over there ASAP to get it done on time for the HG. And yeah I had planned to prechop without roading because I planned to have 4 workers there available to chop when the stone was done; might need to rethink things a bit.

Arrgh, fuck, you queued up commands for all the workers, there were a few I wanted to shuffle around because of that fort thing. frown I shoulda said something about that, damn.

Hmmm I think it will be OK, I can just pull a different worker over and still complete THG by turn 92, on schedule.

I did? Sorry, I didn't realise I'd done it.

I thought most were just continuing previous actions? You should always be able to cancel worker actions when you log in before you move any other units.

Will cancel all Worker actions after I make them in the future, sorry again about that.

We finally have TBS on the scorelist again... interestingly, he is going for Alphabet first instead of Currency, Calender, or any of the military techs... not a bad idea on this map, although he'll be limited in his choice of overseas trading partners, being somewhat in the middle of our continent it looks like - either plako (with GLH) or xenu.

Yeah, most were just doing previous actions, but there were a few that hadn't yet started a task T84. The two in particular I'm thinking of were the worker chopping the trees for Zoo's market and the worker moving to finish that halfway-done farm at Cedar Point, those two woulda been moving T85. Its all good though, the most important thing is I'll still land Currency in 2 turns and the HG at T92, and neither of those would happen without your help!

plako offered open borders this turn, giving us a cool +18 commerce more than we had before. Next turn currency finishes, giving us another +18 hopefully. Depends on how many people accept his OB offer I suppose; I'll need to login right before the turn ends to double-check that we'll still get currency with our current 60% slider. I also offered silver+clam for his ivory; the ivory will be worth more to us because we'll have a market up in a couple of turns. He probably won't accept, but I figure it couldn't hurt considering he's industrious and the silver will likewise be worth more to him than it is to me.

Oxy/Baii has a workboat out right near our galley, so I offered him fish-for-fish to let him know we aren't interested in starting any shit.
