Besides, if it's been in since the FFH2 days and DaveV only found it while digging through the code, then it's not exactly something I'm likely to stumble across; I'd expect to need to do some focused investigating to uncover whatever it is. Let me ask you this; has the "feature" been removed completely in v12, or just tweaked for balance? (I assume if it's been left as-is, then there'd be no reason for continuing spoilers) If it's been removed, then I definitely won't go looking for it, however if it's only been tweaked a little then I might take a look around. (Putting this here for thought process only and I don't want any comment replies from anyone) FWIW, I'd start by looking at the Breeding Pit - Calabim unique that's been around (and untweaked?) since the beginning, but is little-used.
It's been...largely defanged, but not wholly removed. Still something that gives an inadvertent boost to the Calabim, though.

Well, this is an interesting turn: ![]() Noticed I could contact him (checked back prior turns and contact was this turn). No sign of a Khazad unit, but this Griffon showed up this turn. Could be a coincidence though, not sure he's had time to get Hunting as well as all through to Drama? Oh, and it also shows us what Ventessel's problem has been: ![]() Although the most interesting thing here is the "Declared War on our Friend" anger; looks like I'm the only one who's been safe in my own little bubble. Oh, and the Lizards are across from Bagpuss; I have 3 defenders: C2 w/full Fortify, G1 w/5% Fortify, fresh unpromoted. Hold onto your hats! ![]() Demos:
Doesn't seem to be any war weariness, though, so probably no fighting (beyond, perhaps, worker steals) has gone on.
Doesn't require Hunting to take Subdue Animal, only Animal Husbandry.

The mechanics of meeting through HN units is a bit squirly IIRC. I also went back and confirmed that we didn't meet anyone else with that C2 Bear; so he's either Ventessel's or a Barb. Con you confirm the Mechanics for Bronze Weapons; I have recollection that they are only available the turn after the tech is complete, and that they process for movement into a city on that turn, or at the end of turn for units that are fortified in the city; is that right? It might become important if the Lizard situation doesn't resolve itself quickly.
