Turn (114)
Well I had some time on my hands, so lets take a look at what my cities are up too.
First up is Bastion, the city has seen barbs raids, and sneaky Persia banditry, but the city still stands tall, and is living up to its name!!!!
As can be seen the city is working as many improved tiles as it can. The city could benefit from some builder love in the near future. Currently building a settler to disperce its fierce defenders across the Polish border. Plan to settle this team just to the north by the cresant mountain spot. I would like to finish the commercial hub, but I planted it when 'no sleep till Roses Liberated' was the cry's of my Polish citizens. Now that there is no chance of that happening any time soon, I just think Alhambram may just pillage it every time I build something.
Now with a spralling empire such as mine I saw it fit to split my capital into two cities. Sometimes I like to spend my time in the wetlands of lower Jess, while other times my attention is needed in the rolling hills of upper Jess. :
(I tend to crack myself up when playing this game).
It is sad to say that this is the city running at maximum production. After this settler I am either going to finish the campus or prebuild a builder to 1 turn then finish campus. I have to check the timing on when I will hit the 5 builder charge civic. I would like to have at least two builders ready at 1 turn when that civic completes. Also when castles is in, its limes, chops and walls all around.
Now the newest addition to the Polish Union is upper Jess.
This tiny city (no pun intended
) is in desperate need of builder attention. I do have some finishing soon, but would like to get a commerce district knocked out of this city as well as walls, and a monument. Yes I know my :
is shit, well so is my :
,
,
, and all other scores so like most other things it will improve if I get the time.
Finally Creator Lake, named after a misspelling an astute lurker pointed out many millennia ago.
This city is very special to the Polish people. It single handedly kept the country from going bankrupt during not one but two Persian invasions. Turns out there is no time for rest, and the city is busy producing builders with intention of finishing one the districts it has planted.
Finally an overview shot, not that this has changed much since last turn.
Well that sums up how things are going. Not well by any stretch, but making Persia work for my cities is giving me satisfaction.
When you read this Alhambram, no hard feelings, but the blood Rose's citizens still stains my hands!!!
