YES! This has been discussed about 3 times now, not that I expect anyone to go back and read the book that is this thread. We've even considered a lesser %. But ya I don't hate either giving exp lighthouse boost or more probably better switching harbor and lighthouse bonus. Although ironically might make org even better on big maps to give it harbor buff.

If you're looking to nerf ORG what about lowering the boost to Courthouses? +50% instead of +100%, for instance

With PB66 done and some more experience in the modern age, it feels like corporations needs to be taken down slightly more. Or rather, the corporation HQs. I think the corps alone are pretty well balanced and interesting, but since any player will put the HQ in the wallstreet city ensuring you get 12 gold per city, spreading it becomes a no-brainer. I think the gold bonus for HQ should be taken down to at least 3, and possibly even 2.

I agree. 3 gold sounds about right, at least to start with.

I got the message that I'm introducing too many changes. In that regard I would reduce the changes to the following.

Current planned changes:

- FINancial. The water bonus applies to all water tiles and not only to 2+ commerce tiles (This actually isn't a change. Every since I implemented this it worked like this. Since the balance wasn't effected that much I opted to leave it that way and just clarify the changelog.)
- Rome UU cost is increased to 55
- Wonder Christo Redentor available at Mass Media instead of Radio
- Submarine cargo is 1 person (Scout, Explorer, Missionary, Spy, or Great People)
- Attack Submarine cargo is 3 missiles
- American UB +1 GPP instead of +2 GPP (I would be open to also remove the Minuteman and return the Navy Seal to further reduce changes and nerf America)
- All corporation HQs earn 3 gold instead of 4

This would effectively increase the changelog by 4 new bullet points.

Still don't know why the further Rome nerf, and America seems too harsh. I know that many disagree, but can't we just take away the minuteman and keep library at 2 GPP? That way it's a busted UB with null UU, similar how Byzantium has cataphracts and a never built UB.

I'm actually with you Miguelito, but since I'm leaving I didn't want to stand in the way of the majority. Question though is if the nerf Rome and America group is the majority. If it helps I could provide a voting sheet to decide the matter.

Then again everyone is free to take up the mantle and start changing CtH to their liking.
