As I already explained, I had no idea why people were voting zakalwe. It wasn't until I dedicated a few hours yesterday to reviewing his posts that I finally saw. I came up with my vote for fire&ice why trying to find someone new, since I had no real reading of 'Wolf on either Mr. Nice Guy or zakalwe. I've since changed my stance a bit on the latter.

Well, that's a difficult question. Someone posted the theory that between fire&ice and zakalwe, we should lynch fire&ice first, because if he's a 'Wolf it will incriminate zakalwe. I didn't agree at the time, nor did I disagree - I was indifferent. However, after reviewing it, especially in the context of my theory on fire&ice, and now even more after seeing zakalwe's latest response(s), I feel it's better to lynch zakalwe before fire&ice. Since that won't happen today, if fire&ice gets lynched it may tell us something about zakalwe, although that's hard to gauge. At this point everything for any of the top three suspects (fire&ice, Mr. Nice Guy, zakalwe) can point to either 'Wolf or Villager, in my view. Still, I have no problem with any of those three being up on the block, although I'm the least certain about Mr. Nice Guy of the three (I think).
Anyway, like I said: we'll see what happens.

Well I caught up this morning (thanks for refraining from a flame war), but it seems there is unlikely to be a late day run on anybody.
I didn't see much of anything that would cause me to switch to MNG. I would like to see a tie vote just to see what novice does. But unless Bruindane votes, we are destined to have an odd number of votes.
I am pretty much sticking on F&I solely because of PB's dying words. F&I seems to be a candidate because no one has a read on him. Problem is, I don't feel like I have a damn read on anybody.

[STRIKE] fire&ice[/STRIKE] Mr. Nice Guy
I've got a whole new theory ! Each wolf has picked someone in the village to try to get lynched, on the basis that we only have to lose 6 times and we're out, so even if they trade 1 for 1, they only have to get lucky on Day 1 and get their targets lynched before themselves. If true, it might explain the sheer number of vendettas being launched and the widespread support for the 'a wolf would never crusade' theory.
And Mr. Nice Guy has definitely had it in for Jkaen. Most of his comments, upon review, are 'yeah, yeah, interesting, but have you considered Jkaen?'

What does this mean for pocketbeetle? Rowain's target? And who was Selrahc's target?

Nitpick: At the start of the game we were allowed 6 wrong lynches and could still win. Cull's untimly demise does cost us one of those.

Mardoc Wrote:I think I missed this connection - if you can explain to me how MNG would incriminate Zakalwe (or possibly exonerate, if villager?), I'm willing to help test the theory. Or just point me at the post I missed where you already laid it out. In a nutshell, I believe Zakalwe started to build cover by suspecting his wolf mate, when Mr. Nice Guy was not in danger (F&I 7 votes vs. 2 votes between Zakalwe and Mr. Nice Guy). http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....count=1399
And then lashed his grand theory which in my mind contains one wolf in red and three villagers in white. http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....count=1400
I assume he believed that Mr. Nice Guy is in no danger, so it was good timing. Mr. Nice Guy was still heavily under suspicion, so when we finally lynch him and he is revealed as wolf, we look back and find the two messages above. Unfortunately for him, Mr. Nice Guy got a boatload of votes soon after. Add this to his attempts to draw attention away from Selrahc on Day 2 (F&I vote, uberfish vote).
This is of course all moot if Mr. Nice Guy is revealed as a villager. But I doubt he is.

If my theory has any value, it would implicate at least Rowain and Serdoa.
Gotta admit, Selrahc is a weak spot.
Fastest theory-killing yet! I'm still a coinflip between MNG and f&i in that case, so I suppose there's not much point in changing my mind a third time.
