Thanks.

Everybody is making peace with Piccadilly!?
Just Miguelito and I remain in the coalition against the conquering of Alpha Centauri... I'm not exactly sure why that is. Civac probably made a fuck you statement thrown at my face, since I attacked him (fair enough). But I don't really understand why Amica did it.
Well, I offered 150 gpt for peace with Civac. And I'm poised to strike some of Piccadilly cities, with a dangerous landing next turn. He has a big navy near the city where my army is staged and if he captures that city, I'm screwed. But I don't think he would use land troops for that, as his army is pretty thin.
If my main objective is to survive the longest, I probably should have stayed quiet, just taking the easy cities from Piccadilly. But, eh, whatever, Superdeath is the one that will have to handle the world war fallout.
And just to make clear, I'm not trying to screw Piccadilly. It's just that... he's about to win? And if he's gone, I climb yet another position. Not sure where to go from there, though. If I can get civac off my back, I could perhaps think about attacking frozen? But even if I have a bit more cities than him (1,5 blob compared to his starting blob only), I don't think I could make meaningful advances.
Who knows, maybe the game will end soon...

Piccadilly captured the city where I was staging my attack, so my invading army got deleted. I got peace from civac and reoffered the peace that Piccadilly offered me. I have some settlers to fill the razed cities in ex-Cornflakes land.
Piccadilly is probably going to win. He needs to resist something like 5/6 turns, and he's only playing against Miguelito. If he juggles his Capital as he's doing right now, I don't think Miguelito can take him out in time. Not exactly sure why Amicalola got peace. He's probably thinking that his only way to beat Miguelito is to let Miguelito stretch himself against Piccadilly and get him while he's vulnerable.
Anyway, that's my last turn before my vacation. Sd will take it from here. Hopefully it'll all go smoothly. Since you'll probably be in peace when you play, Sd, feel free to do as you please. Just queueing builds and fortifying stuff is alright by me.

Okiedokie. Hope i didnt screw anything up toooooo badly for ya. I was "roughly" planning on conquering some cities from Dulland (building a nuke to take out any major threat/stack and slamming his coastal cities with a fleet)
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

That's an interesting idea!
Man, I was sure Piccadilly would win this. Then I come back and the poor guy is gone. That means I'm up to 9th place, with another player at 1 city. If we can take down 5 minutes turns Dulland, perhaps we can get a top five.

My self-evaluation about my game:
*Diplomacy: I think that was my best skill, so 8/10. I was always on the right side of dogpiles.
*Economy: 6/10 - I think I put myself in a decent spot, despite my picks being very bad, as seen by other threads judgement. But, as usual, I failed to get anything meaningful out of the good positioning. Well, I think my astro play was decent and I colonized one of the contested islands. But I lost it without much of a defense, which was bad. Anyway, I didn't have any late game MP experience, so I was going pretty blind in the late parts of the game.
*Military - Oh, brother. 2/10, All my military movements failed. I think I picked the right fights (perhaps the exception was the altercation with Frozen), but I sucked at military movements and lost way more than I should have.
*Dedication: 5/10. Mailed most of my turns, but at least I finished the game without dealying everyone else too much.
But, yeah, that's it for me, everyone. I don't think I'll play another game of Civ 4 MP in my life. I'm happy that I can say I got a nice finishing place in this game, perhaps even top 5 if we go by the hidden score. Not anything grandiose, but at least decent.
I hope everyone is having a nice life and I apologize for any harm I've caused (I'm just an imperfect and scared human being). If anyone wants to talk about something, just drop me a message. Also, if anyone comes to visit the south of Brazil, send me a message and I'll at least give you a culinary tour around here (which I think is the best thing one can do here).
Cheers!

Congrats Ichabod on surviving until the end
Hopefully its not the end forever... but if it is, it's a good game to go out on!
