[SPOILERS] Cornflakes and Q Eat 'Em for Breakfast!

Hmmm, wait up for the turn to roll or go to bed? ... On the evening turns Azza's has played at about midnight one turn and closer to 1am (my time). I'm falling asleep at the computer and that's another 2-3 hours so to bed it is.

I might end up as the last person in the turn tomorrow morning when I get to it (playing my turns back-to-back since double-moving isn't going to be a problem yet). And on that note, this kinda our last opportunity to turn the scout S-SE or continue westward. I'm leaning 70/30 towards onward west, but if you're online again before I play in the morning you can put a final vote in.

Double gold with pigs for food to work both! Too bad it at least 10-tiles from out capital (and probably closer to someone else's capital, because i'd love to get a city down there ASAP.

8k global power increase, Jowy got two 6pt increases, rival best power is now 12k. Nobody could have researched BW this quickly, so Jowy must have popped it from a hut frown BW brings him to 12k (rival best now), plus another 0k tech researched himself. Probably Agriculture, working on AH now with pre-req bonuses because rival best GNP spiked from last turn.

Ok, I played through the dandbox once more this morning without cottaging sugar, and I realized that the extra food(hammer) from sugar takes 2-turns off settler production and 1-turn off worker production. Since we'll probably be pumping workers/settler out of here while riding the happy-cap on cottages I think that we should go ahead and cottage sugar and take advantage of the extra commerce. It'll be another 50 turns or so before we want to put a plantation on the sugar.

Just played the turn ... It is unfortunate that we till haven't seen a second hut yet frown and there have been 4 techs popped worldwide so far too frown

Not much interesting revealed this turn. Just a lot of forests blocking our view from the gold hill. Which way next? I've marked the land/water tile bleeds (although some are obvious already). I'm thinking SW-SW shows the greatest potential.

Sugar won't save turns on the second city, but it WILL save two turns on our third city, which in turn saves 2-turns on Stonehenge, plus and additional turn on every settler/worker we build afterwards. Even if we eventually bulldoze the village after Calendar I think that it's worth the cottage now. It's almost as good as working a Flood Plains cottage except that it's not riverside.

2metra played shortly after I logged out so we're on to a new turn. I didn't move the scout yet, but I think SW-SW would be best (unless I see something good NW after the first movement SW).

2metra also researched a tech this turn. 0k power & 10-turns. Most likely Agriculture. Demo shot didn't change at the beginning of the turn so I'll just post a shot from later in the turn after I move the scout and other teams have had a chance to move.

We'll get worker + AH at the end of this turn cool It's not possible for another team to beat us to the first worker, and most will probably need the full 15 turns.

I went ahead and moved the scout SW-SW ... It looks like I made a good choice as far as continued exploration goes, but we met our first barb animal mischief We're defending on forest against a 2str lion, so I think our odds of success are about 70%.

After defeating the lion innocent we may need to heal, but SW-SW again looks best.
