[Spoilers] Meiz Polishes his game

Great Work sounds ok with the musician but for the writer? Aren't there any policies you want to speed up getting?

No not really. My next policy will be patronage opener just for the forbidden palace, which is not that urgent at the moment. I'll also soon enter a new era, which gets me another free policy. For now I prefer to use the great works to expand borders, for example both works will now be put to Wroclaw to get a solid border next to Jkaen.

Jowy is in big trouble. I wonder if he's just stopped playing at this point.

While I don't now about him playing he does update his thread.

He talked about city gifting earlier so perhaps that's his way of doing it.

Jowy lost his capital. I accepted his embassy offer and it looks like his capital is now driven off shores smile

Both Jkaen and Jowy entered renaissance era this turn, so I'm almost one era ahead of them... twirl

Seeing he settled an offshore city early (already on size 12) I really wonder why he declared on Azza.

I'd guess it was some sort of opportunistic attack, snatching a settler so he could settle his city for example. In any case, he sure payed for it lol

Got the patronage opener this turn, and here's how my social policy tree looks like. I have double the policies compared to others.

Forbidden palace was started in Wroclaw, since I've got no rush to build it. My next city will be settled in coast between Warsaw and Poznan. Some really nice land up there and I don't have marble yet as a luxury resource.

Yes but that was so wrong. He never got any use out of his city nor of the tiles he paid money for (the ivory tile). And as I said then attacking china near machinery is lets say suboptimal.

So you still have a free settler and a free GP in your pocket smile. Any plans when to use them? And how is your techtree looking now?

I've got no plans for the GP yet, I'll just hold on to that finisher until it's needed. I'm in such a huge lead that there's really no need to rush it. I'll post my tech tree once I get the GS bulb from the porcelain tower next turn.

I bulbed scientific theory with the scientist and used the free policy (from changing era) to grab humanism (25% faster Great Scientist generation).

Next tech will be industrialization for the factories, and then some of the cheaper techs from the bottom. Getting quite a lot of overflow from the bulb, so factories will become available in two turns.

Azza captured Innsbruck from Jowy and is now razing it down.

Currently wondering if I should just beeline to rifles and artillery next and go for a quicker finish of the game... popcorn
