Happy to see 2metra fortify his spare units up north towards Borsche. Also looks like he got the cover event. I've yet to see any events so far. I'm sure I'm saving up for something real good!




Got graphs on him this turn and he's doing alright despite the city raze. Similar to Borsche (and the rest of world average). Certainly not weakened to the point where I can bully him. Happy to settle west/southwest.

As expected Gavagai rushed the Pyramids with the GE. Very annoying. It's not like I was trying hard for it, but I wanted to get some more money (failgold) out of it before completion. No way anyone would've built it normally by now. Coinflips are not on my side this game. This will slow down my currency, CoL and shrine timings a bit.

At least he's spent the GE so I don't need to worry about it anymore, but I guess he'll get another and then another and then another now.

OH seems to have a lot of space as well, because he's not slowing down.




Settled 2 filler cities, Eel and Jellyfish, before heading west. The 2nd picture didn't take, but it's north of the copper city for 1st ring gold and 2nd ring seafood. Looking at the post now you can spot it at the top of the demographics picture.




Low cost and quick to get going. Chopping granary+lighthouse almost immediately. This way I reach currency/CoL sooner and as mentioned I really need the whale for happiness. Worth mentioning that the coast to the far west is not connected to another landmass, i had a work boat pass through there, so I'm not losing out on anything by delaying it 10-15 turns.

There's something very satisfying about this screen. Perfectly spread religion with no random spreads included -- that very rarely happens. But my people need to learn to become more tolerant by the time I lightbulb philosophy.




Buddhist player has made no effort to spread it seems.

In other news 2metraninja settled a very defensive city in the lake area, almost suggesting that he considers the fish mine.
Maybe he has more space NE than I expected and I might take him up on the offer. I forgot to take a screenshot to show it, but if you look back he settled on the plains hill having a lot of overlap with the previous city. 1S of the wheat with fish whale 2nd ring.

Found another great piece of real estate. 100+ cities empire for the game winner. 




At least for now the island appears to have my name on it. Will know for sure in a couple of turns when the work boat has made its way around it.
