WW35: Not Another TPS Report [Game Thread]

Scum really got screwed this game by the dropped role reveal that pretty much no one, including myself, expected. That's why I don't claim any credit for it. I'm more claiming luck than any real skill :P

GG Twinkletoes.

I suppose goon means either Jabbz is lying, or we have two scum left. Two means lylo tomorrow, unless Jabbz makes a save, so best to focus on two players. Hum.

His gambit on accusing me is quite a lot of trouble for little reward. Makes me think he's pulling off gambits just to appear as town. Same goes for all the breadcrumbings etc.

At no point did Q (or TT) bring up the possibility that Q's no-result from day 1 could be due to Lewwyn dying, thus no result. I didn't bring that up earlier since I was sure TT was scum. Maybe Q missed the possibility, but it makes me think their fight might not have been genuine from either party.

I think Jabbz has been pretty towny, so I'd say he is town over Q. So maybe the reason I'm having such a hard time finding scum is that Q is the last one.

I was - and am - pretty sure that I;d have got the result nonetheless. At least, that is how it has occurred in the past, IIRC. I mean, no result means my investigation failed, and I wouldn't put it as such with a dead target.

I'm not quite sure where all the ideas that I'm scum are coming from. Is it simply meta of having to find two scum in this crowd? Because the only real accusations that are coming from anyone are Jabbz' and they're...weak, to put it mildly.

I feel like this is just me getting punished for not being able to make any scans...rolleye ignoring the fact that Jabbz has done nothing to prove his role exists, that I claimed something that - if scum - had a very high chance of getting novice lynched, put me right in the limelight for cop-scans (of which there were a potential 3, and if you believe there's one scum and I'm it, then scum wouldn't even have a roleblocker to cut any of them off. Oh, and the Godfather has flipped - Lewwyn).

As to TT pressuring me yesterday - there's no way anyone was believing that for a moment. That was about as thick as he could possibly have laid it on, and on someone that's definitely not getting lynched that day? I think that's pretty clearly distancing that he was hoping would swing you all round onto me day 5 bang

Meiz Wrote:Oh forgot one thing.

It's odd how Q said that him revealing zak scan didn't matter. Because that actually revealed that roleblocker actually exists. Other nights could have been Bob's doing. So perhaps Q forgot the tiny detail of his story for a moment there smile

Sure, they could've been Bob. But if they were, scum would've tried to kill me earlier (night 2) - that they didn't made the existence of a roleblocker pretty clear to me.

rolleye

I'll reiterate again that I knew the reveal was going to happen.

What screwed the scum over here was a open setup, really, along with Adrien's shooting and the cop-claims of day 1.

Why didn't Jabbz stop the kill on Rowain?

If Q is the sole surviving mafia, then his cover story on day 2 would not be "I tried to scan Lewwyn". It would be "I tried to scan Mattimeo".
If you know what I mean.

Mafia must have tried to kill Ichabod. Azarius killed Rowain. Jabbz said he protected Rowain, didn't he?
If you know what I mean.

He said he protected Q actually.

Q as the sole-mafia would also require him to be strongman _and_ ask to be jailed for night 1 _and_ still make the successful kill on Mattimeo lol

Strongman bypasses Jailkeeper Meiz, he could make the kill anyway.
Reply

No, he asked to be jailkeeped himself, which is as good as roleblocking. So his kill wouldn't go through.

Well, the Strongman Role PM indicates that you can "bypass any protective/roleblock abilities when you perform the factional kill", which to me suggests that the Jailkeeper couldn't stop him from killing anyone.
