T085 -
Here's one picture to sum up the turn:
Didn't /quite/ get the Workers lined up for the same-turn connection.
OK, I'll give you a second picture for the turn; settling Lungfish and connecting the Fish at Haddock had an unexpected side-effect:
Number 1 Baby, Yeah!
OK fine, a bonus picture and a question; what's this I spy?

Transit:
Neither of us have Writing, so I was expecting it when he showed up last turn. I assumed it was the same for Superdeath since they aren't neighbours, but I just recalled that SD does have Writing. Maybe he preferred to declare for passage rather than give away trade routes?

Peace has been restored with greenline, but currently at war with Mjmd - I would say still, but the diplo modifier I /think/ implies multiple declarations from Gav. Mjmd's power graphs hasn't shown any sign of losses though so.

Mjmd's power drop hit the graphs this turn...
Edit: I /also/ need Mjmd to kneecap Gav in return; basically some sort of MAD scenario that takes them both out of contention.

Well it's so much easier if everyone does it and saves me the trouble!
I probably don't know enough about the rest of the players to pick out individuals. I'll say that Ricketyclik looks to be a step behind the rest and if Superdeath eats him without much interference that sets SD up as a powerhouse at the other end of the map.
If we're talking about nice to haves, I'd love a long grinding war between Ljubljana and Gingac during which neither of them make much progress; that would drag them down and leave me free to grow in peace.

Yeah, I realise now that asking lurkers questions about an opponent's land is probably not going to get many responses if they have been reporting.
So I was zooming in to look at infrastructure in Gingac's border city to check for a Library pushing borders (not present), but then I was scrolling a bit further and thought I spotted one of my favourite UBs, and indeed there is a Hammam here in their capital (no Library though). So that confirms they have researched through Mathematics. It makes me wonder if the grab for the Stone was also for a push to Hanging Gardens.
Also note the two Villages already grown from their early Pottery play.

An actual question for the lurkers regarding Gavagai's transit war; would it be acceptable for me to offer to not observe a turnsplit with him if it makes it easier for him to play the turn?
The current turn order is that Mjmd and I have the first half and Gavagai plays after both of us. I'm generally able to play the turn promptly at the weekend or Mon/Fri since I WFH, but not TWT when I'm in the office. It feels like Gavagai's optimum play window is earlier in the day than mine, and in cases where Mjmd plays promptly but I can't I wouldn't want to stand in the way of them playing.
Any reason why I shouldn't send a quick pm with this offer?

The only thing you would give away is that you have no intention of killing his workboat, but I think that's acceptable for the sake of turnpace.

Fair point. I won't send anything preemptively, but will keep an eye out for a situation when it might make a difference.
