Steam updated, and for some reason Civ 6 was no longer in my library. All the game files were there, but it insisted on re downloading the entire game. It will be a couple hours before it is installed again :/

Nearing the deadline here. On Friday I head for Maine, on the 7th or 8th I head cross country taking about 8-9 days. I still do not have anyone to take the save so it might be a 2 week hiatus for this game. I will probably still need to buy a laptop at some point, but that is not a choice I want to be forced to make in 4 days. Should I post that I need a temp in the main civ forum?

For that matter, I'm likely to be unable to play from 22nd - 28th September.

Banzailizard: While I'm generally in favour of keeping the game moving, I've been expecting we'd lose some time to people going away over the summer. I wouldn't want you to feel any pressure to find someone to take over, especially when lacking a ded-lurker. In short, entirely up to you.

Ok headed back home tomorrow so I should be able to take my turn.  Depending how long it takes to get around to me and how long I take to pack for my move, I can probably get another turn in too.  Then I will gone again for 8-10 days.  Might be more, depends on how long it takes to get my internet connection set up (hopefully not more than a day or two. (I plan to arrange whatever set up I need with the ISP en route).

Ok I have my trip planned out. I will be traveling for 9 days starting tomorrow. I was hoping to get the turn today but its time I packed up.

Just got settled in my new apartment. I bought a modem and had it shipped to my landlord's office so I have internet access.  I do not have a desk though so might not be until tomorrow that I take my turn.  Though apparently we will then be on another break tongue
