WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

If you aren't going to be here to defend, you'll end up going the way of the jkaen. I think that was a big reason behind his demise. It was close, a good defense would have been helpful. On the other hand, I'm getting village vibes from everyone thats been active.

I don't know if I'm going to survive the night, but I'm afraid I don't really have much more to say to the village than I haven't already.

I would be a little more wary of Molach. A lot of his village cred is based on awfully convenient occurances. His diary could have been written in Word by a team of wolves, to be deployed after a couple pronoun changes to any member of the pack who was attracting too much heat. His vote on Injera may have been placed for deep cover, or because he wasn't around to change it when the other wolves needed him to. His villagerish power may have been intended to protect him against Catwalk and possibly a third party.

But that's all speculation, and I wouldn't feel confident lynching him on any of it. We just have too many suspects right now, and not much time left to get it right. Waterbat, if you and Maniac make it through the night, let the village know whether you think he's worth pursuing as a wolf based on what he tells you regarding his power.

Yes - he mentioned "maybe waterbat can help me put it to use", so keeping it hidden for a bit may be prudent. Otherwise, I'll just put the info out there for us all to see.

Well that's not the goal. I should be able to put at least one substantial post up per day based on current discussion and my analysis that I get. If that's not helpful enough to the village then a mislynch would be unfortunate, but I'll do my best to stay active and help hunt whoever we can figure out to hunt.

Well there is still a theoretical chance I die tonight.
I'm not sure who is best lynch tomorrow.
Some food for thought if you are alive and I aint tomorrow.

-Study the lynch today. Voting pattern. If BRick is NAP, why are (most) suspects voting for him? They sort of stayed on him all day. He got 7 initial votes, then slowly it turned to Jkaen - but most of the trusted ones voted Jkaen the innocent - so why would NAP stay on BRick? That leaped out at me. While I was wrong about Jkaen, I could still be right about BRick, even though the write-up makes me look like an idiot for not lynching him...

-I said it before, and this applies particularly if BRick is lynched and turns innocent. And since I was hypothetical nightkill then you know that all actors in drone saga were village. I think in this case it is a pretty decent chance that roles were either rolled randomly or deliberately set up to confuse village. So in this scenario, thestick should be considered a suspect like anyone else, and only cleared by previous voting and posting, if applicable, and not because he was neighbour to NAP, pointless role in itself.

However I suppose one of two players are gonna die tonight, and that ain't me. So see most of you in the morning.

I'm increasingly suspicious of theStick too actually. A double NAP neighbour pairing has been discussed by sadistic narrators in a few lurker threads. I could see it being trialled here.

The NAP killed so far have mostly had multiple powers. A "neighbour NAP" isn't so useless if they are also a Roleblocker.

If I die tonight, had a conversation with thestick yesterday. He didn't reveal anything not revealed here. I told him I felt jkaen the better choice. He stuck with brick. Other than that. Nothing more really - although he said he was very interested in what powers people gained during the course of the game. Given that the only powers like that we know of we're anti-mindworm, I felt this was a curious query.

The man they called “Stick” had a heavy heart as he headed towards his bedroom. He was a simple man, descended from generations of farmers. He survived on Planet as his ancestors survived on Earth: by working the land and staying out of trouble. He knew how to till a farm or cultivate a solar panel, but the careful speech and sophistry of the planetary council confused him. He knew not why the group had suspected him so much in the early days of the council, he had not even heard of a NAP before the council started. They had long sense forgotten about him; If it wasn’t for his tall, lanky frame that towered over them, perhaps they wouldn’t even realize he was still around.

The “stick” pondered over this, and weighed his options for survival as he drifted off to sleep. He slept uneasy, and a nightmare overtook him. He walked in his own garden, peacefully, if only for a moment. The true form of Judaa Marr appeared, grinning evilly, and began to chase him. Just as his lost the alien beast, he path was blocked by a gigantic earth worm. He gasped, and then felt a throbbing migraine that forced him to his knees. The worm seemed to whisper to him, faintly, “your time has come.” The pain stopped, and he heard a hideous laughter. He turned to his right and saw Sindar Roze and Prophet Cha’ Dawn laughing and pointing at him.

The worker awoke suddenly, with a start. To his dismay, he found that he was now dead.
thestick, humble worker and village neighbor died of mysterious causes on night 6.
You are a common worker, a villager. You survive on this harsh planet by working various mines, farms, and forests, and generally by just doing what you are told and avoiding the troublesome drones. You were quite surprised to get invited to the council, as no one has really paid any attention to your opinion previously.

Since arriving you have learned that [unknown] has used the Telepathic Matrix to communicate with you privately. You do not know if he is innocent or a member of the NAP conspiracy.

You win when all threats to humanity have been destroyed.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Man, I just refreshed this expecting to see myself dead, but nope. And not waterbat or Selrahc either... Honestly, I don't get it.

I also picked him as my scan target banghead

I guess the "earth worm" indicates Planet involvement? Or just flavor w/ the farmer theme. I have no idea.

I'll withold voting for Maniac until Waterbat reports. For now, Molach. The diary increasingly strikes me as being too convenient. The date stamps and page views could all be faked. I realize that this is not exactly decisive evidence, but that's what I have at the moment.

Although Brick would make sense as well, now that I think about it- on the Injera lynch, he switched to thestick. Hmm.

I'll try to look through the recent votes later, see if I find anything new.

Hey. Driving so brief. Hey - no nap taunt tag. Maybe primary nap kill got blocked?
