Welp. No tournaments. But it is a new play mode. The new mode has special rules and gimmicks that change every now and then. That's an okay idea too I suppose. But apparently it will cost something to play those (after the first one), so I won't be playing.

Looks like they didn't have everyone on the same page for the free vs not part of the announcement. Even if it's not it could still be fun - "play a new game mode and maybe win packs/gold/dust" is easily worth some gold. That's all Arena is after all.
