Also by virtue of Novice being a wolf, I believe Scooter is a villager. Scooters poast against Zakalwe (reminds me of my post against him) is good and Novice is attacking because Scooter's been contributing well.

Revised list:
Zakalwe
F&I
Ichabod
Novice

I should put novice higher because I think he's even more suspicious than that. He's always the one who diverts the discussions or changes the village voting direction. His last minute vote on Cull (after my vote which made his vote a nonfactor) has been thoroughly accepted that he didn't know his vote wouldn't make the difference and therefore has been ignored. His final votes on Selrahc are perfect for cover as we all have noted but somehow we keep shifting it under the rug. During the Rowain, PB runabout, I believe we had two vilagers. This allowed him to be vocal and play around and cast aspersions on Rowain. Much like in WW2 where Serdoa and Scooter attacked those who were lynching Meiz! They could because they knew he was innocent. Next day he simply maneuvers the vote by switching a lot. I don't know if you've noticed how many people are actually following novice.

I believe we need to either lynch novice or Zakalwe today. I believe both are wolves and both are slippery dangerous. The longer they make it without being lynched the more dangerous they become.

Sandover recognized the danger of novice, he was killed. You may say, "the wolves wouldn't kill someone who was suspicious of them its too obvious." It is an argument I would use. But look, the Sandover kill was early, it was during a time when it could be brushed under the rug, but alos if he had been allowed to live might have actually turned into a problem for novice! They killed Sandover before the seed he planted could really take root. The more I go back and look at Sandover vs. novice and read novices posts the more I see a wolf obfuscating and playing us all like a fiddle. Sandover knew so he had to be eliminated. Come on guys we need to lynch novice.

I am super psyched to get caught up tonight. I didn't think it was going to happen. I was out of town on business and then had to take my wife out for our anniversary. Now I am just desperately trying to get to bed so I can get up at 4am to go snowboarding. Ironically, this might be good for my following the thread because I will spend lots of time on chair lifts, if I can just overcome the fear that I am going to drop my nice new phone. I wouldn't expect any magnum opuses, though (as if you expect them from me anyway), while typing on my Droid phone. Do expect lots of funny mistakes due to that obnoxious program that changes my intended words. I fully expect Lewwyn to become Laying and Zakalwe to become god knows what.

Meiz Wrote:Scooter, for me personally it's mostly the "casual" play of GES and Lewwyn that have convinced me of their innocence (also the content as well, but I'm not interested to look for those messages now, I'd rather concentrate on finding the wolves). I don't know how to describe it, but it's like they don't need to spend too much time on crafting their messages, since they have nothing to hide. Someone better worded could probably explain it better.

I was offended by this. I went to law school to learn how to dissemble and craft finely worded messages, and I apparently am a complete failure. lol

Roland Wrote:I miss Irgy. I truly, truly miss Irgy. I'm sure he could find a calm, rational way to explain all of this, and make sense of it all - regardless of whether he agrees with me or not. I trusted him - and I was right to do so, ultimately. Now with him gone, I feel like the Village has lost one of its most useful assets, and I feel it's really starting to show already.

I agree with this. I wasn't around for any of the discussion about role-claiming, but I like the way Irgy thought. I am a fan of statistical analyses, voting records etc. Irgy seemed inclined along those lines. I've been trying to figure out why the wolves keep choosing the kills they choose. In Irgy's case, I feel like he made some comment re:Baner that might've had the wolves thinking along those lines. Or maybe he was what novice said the wolves should do: kill a skillful villager with no suspicion on them. That said, I thought Irgy was the fool for a few days because of this little line that I specifically took note of, because it was such eloquent gibberish:

Irgy Wrote:It's good really. All the people I don't think are guilty now will, for just the same reason, fall in a complete heap if they play wolf. It's just that fortunately they didn't. Except of course for the one of them who's undoubtedly playing the fool and playing me for a fool, but they'll only get away with that once.

As usual I am confused as hell. But here are my thoughts as best as I can put them down:

I think the idea that we need to search out a deep cover wolf is a good one. Novice and Ichabod seem like the two most likely possibilities for that, and my reason for saying that is because so far I have found myself trusting them both implicitly. I don't know if I would be willing to lynch either one of them, mainly because of the argument that we don't really need to seek out deep cover wolves because they will do our job for us, and because if we lynched them and they are villagers, we lost valuable villagers.

I think lynching Zakalwe or F&I is fine. I am still not sure I think either is guilty, but at some point, even a broken watch is right twice per day. And quite frankly, I don't really know who I think is guilty. (Jkaen maybe?)

In deciding who to vote for, I am most interested in which lynch will help clarify matters for us. So far, there seems to be conflicting thoughts on that.

Well as I said I am interested today in hunting down Lewwyn and Fire and Ice. Since we seem to have found another alternate in Zakawle, I will vote for F&I today

Out of interest to see what happens if we have 3 people with 3 votes each:

The thing that turns me off from Zakalwe (If you know what I mean), is that with cheat sheet, he could have easily played in a fashion that doesn't put him as a suspect. He could have voted for PB for example. Why would a wolf put the votes against fire&ice and uberfish alone? He sure is standing out because of that. Why leave a trail behind with votes, when he could have just spread the suspicion without voting, and see if anyone takes the bait? That's why I suspect that Zakalwe might be a villager without cheat sheet, after all.

Regarding novice, Selrahc did first vote against him, when it was between PB, Novice and Selrahc, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....tcount=573
He also really underlined the possibility of a wolf mayor. If the wolves would have a mayor position, why would Selrahc do this? Again some double/double/whatever ploy to throw us off? I have my doubts.

When it was between Selrahc and PB, why did Selrahc not vote against PB? He was a villager in lead after all. PB votes at the time: Rowain, Lewwyn, Jkaen, Mardoc, Fire & Ice, Cull, scooter

What if the only reason was, that there were already enough wolves voting for PB, so they had to spread out votes?

Another thing I forgot regarding scooter. Take a look at his message where he quoted my accusation against Zakalwe and voted him. I don't know if it's just me, but I immediately got a feeling that he did not even go back and read Zakalwe's original posts, just jumped on my theory without adding anything of his own. Again hard to explain, but that's the feeling I got.

Novice - what would make you change your mind and believe that I am a villager? I'm genuinely curious here. It's like I said yesterday, I get the feeling that you will always think I'm a wolf until one of us dies, so I'm curious if there's something that would actually convince you.
