Novice - what would make you change your mind and believe that I am a villager? I'm genuinely curious here. It's like I said yesterday, I get the feeling that you will always think I'm a wolf until one of us dies, so I'm curious if there's something that would actually convince you.

I suspect you both, but my hunch against you is stronger than my hunch against Zakalwe.

Right now there are five players not voting. I would like to force them to vote, and cast a vote that matters. Since Meiz and I are apparently the only ones suspecting you atm., I'll keep my vote on you.

BTW, I really hope we don't get any more mod-killed villagers.

I think Zakalwe voting record shows "mistakes" that a wolf would not do, and I think your play so far indicates that you know the villagers and wolves. With the info we currently have, I simply suspect Scooters play more, and I'm quite sure that one of you is a wolf. So I doubt I will switch to Zakalwe, unless he confesses that he is a wolf

Okay, as much as I'm not a big fan of meta-gaming, I do have some meta reasoning that makes me suspect Ichabod - and it adds to why I have him as my #2 suspect.

Many people have called Ichabod out for lurking the thread but purposely not contributing. What's funny to me, is usually as soon as people do this, he's really quick to show up in the thread and defend himself, and then he goes right back to lurking. He has frequently blamed "not enough time" as an excuse, which is understandable.. Except as several have pointed out, he's frequently active, he just infrequently contributes as of late. Here's an example of someone who noticed this:

Ichabod stop watching the thread to see if people post and vote. Its very suspicious, so you must be a villager. Get a move on.

Funny that as soon as this was posted, he suddenly sprang to life:

I checked and it was a FIVE minute window between these two messages, so this made me wonder if Ichabod was lying... Claiming that he wasn't actually around all those times when people saw him active in this forum.

Another issue is that I know how the VBulletin software works pretty well... Unless something is different about this board, simply keeping a tab open will NOT keep you on the active player list... After a certain length of time with no activity (I'm thinking it's like 20 minutes), it will take you off the "players online in this forum" list. Also if you check someone's profile, it shows what time they most recently opened a page. I took this screenshot a few minutes ago (when I stared writing this post:



This means he had been on as recently as 10 minutes before I started writing this, but still he hasn't contributed today or voted today.

I'm not nuts about lots of meta-gaming, but I felt the need to check this, as I felt Ichabod was being dishonest when he said that the reason for frequently being online but never helping was because he kept one of the tabs open... VBulletin doesn't work like that, so he is intentionally not contributing today... Seems an awful lot like trying to fly under the radar now that I brought his name up as a serious suspect.

My voting record in WW2 was awfully similar to Zakalwe's right now. That's actually a big party of the reason why I suspect him so much. If you are dismissing him as a candidate for lynching based on that, then I don't know what to tell you.

Also, if the fact that I was a big part of lynching Selrahc proves that I know who the werewolves and villagers are... I fail to see how any of my other votes show that I know who the villagers and werewolves are. Just because I've been on the "losing side" (the side with the 2nd most amount of votes) more than once has nothing to do with my knowledge of who's a werewolf and who's a villager. If you're seriously going to lynch me because of that.... then again, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm not dismissing anything. I just have to choose the more likely wolf and at the moment I feel it's you. I don't think there's any solid evidence against either of you, so I have chosen my gut feeling.

Can you explain to me why wolf Zakalwe would vote alone against uberfish and fire&ice, knowing that he will stand out from the others very clearly once Selrahc is voted off? Do you think he's just that poor wolf player?

I did this more than once in WW2 as well. I think uberfish did too if my memory is accurate, but I don't feel like going back and checking. My point is that I believe he's playing exactly like I did last game. I played last game in a very active manner, hoping my obviousness about my voting failings and argumentative nature would make people think there's no way someone that obvious could be a wolf. I believe zakalwe is trying the same thing. If he's a wolf, does that make him a poor wolf player or just a daring one? I'm really not sure. It's hard to judge honestly, and it probably depends on who we discover the other wolves to be.

Also - the same thing could be said in reverse. If he's a villager, can you explain to me why he would vote alone against uberfish and fire&ice, knowing that he will stand out from other players and people would mislabel him as a werewolf (and he wouldn't be helping the village by casting an irrelevant vote), thus hurting team village?

I think both scenarios are just as odd - zakalwe the wolf voting alone twice and zakalwe the villager voting alone twice... And historically, there's a lot more grounds to think that his behavior fits a werewolf than a villager.
