Yeah, it was a weird game. We won bottom lane quite convincingly, and top did fine as well. Mid was the problem; TF spent his time trading kills, whining at the jungler, threatening to afk, actually afking, threatening to intentionally feed and generally being unpleasant.
The 3v5 at baron was basically the game-winning fight; Caitlyn was big enough by that point that she really hurt, and we used all our skills as well as we could have in the fight (mumu had Abyssal, as you said, and with a combination of his ult, my ult, my W on him for AP, Cait’s poke and Baron poke we won the fight). Most of our damage was also magic damage, which gets amplified for the team doing Baron.

Why are you continuing to play solo lane and jungle Taric? You're deliberately handicapping yourself by picking a champion that's poorly suited to those roles. I mean sure, you can win with anything against the Hecarim that rushes Ravenous Hydra, but at some point, it's going to come back and hurt you.
EDIT: Not trying to be overly rude either, but those farming numbers in the 43 minute game are ghastly.

Congrats Voldy  Welcome to Silver I, I see you've already gotten familiar with the ridiculously low LP gains! Have fun gaining 1 LP and losing 10 once you get closer to your promo series.

Well i got 10 Lp from the next one so that now i have 15 Lp. We will see how absurd it gets. At this point i'll take it to mean "you don't get to be Gold unless you prove you're worthy!!!"
I have a friend who got gold a few days ago, after Riot kept doing this: "92->95->96->97->98..." :D
He was raging about it on Facebook saying the lp-gain system was made by a schizophrenic.  )

You call 20 kills, 17 assists and 100-smth cs ghastly? I was roaming most of the game so it was kinda hard to stop and farm while making plays and carrying the team to victory. :/

Yes, I stand by that comment. When the top laner has 115 CS and the mid laner has 71 CS in a game that goes over 40 minutes, something has gone horribly wrong. A game that features 91 total deaths (!!!) is another sign of disorganized and generally low-level play. I realize that this is solo queue and all that, but you're completely handicapping yourself by insisting on playing Taric in these non-support roles. Jungle Jarvan, for example, provides a similar kit to jungle Taric while being about a thousand times better at everything.

Yeah, if you're in top lane you should have 110 CS by about the 15 minute mark. It isn't a case of killing or farming either. Good players will do both.
I think the reason you're winning games with Taric in solo queue is because in low-level play, people tend to pick hyper-carries with no CC and build them damage (because the game's no fun if you can't do damage, right kids?). Having a second support on the team is useful in that kind of situation (the 43 minute game, for example, has a glass cannon Master Yi and a Hecarim with Hydra).
You probably only need to look as far as the first Wednesday night game with Sulla to see what happens if you try to play it against a competent team that knows what they're doing...
