Ruthless Ichabod would be something completly new smile

Most of the time everybody else thinks that you are extremly nice and wonder why you believe that you had been rude .

I'm sure even as a fearsome killer-werewolf you sneaked up to your prey whispering 'Excuse me Sir , but I have to nibble on your neck and mangle your body' wink

not sure what to think about novice's reveal. certainly very interesting.

I think I would learn toward's lynching novice for information. But if novice is wolf, it might false-clear Pindicator, so maybe that's dangerous.

anyway, it's hard with the set up to do the math on how many mislynches village can afford - but I do think they have plenty at this point, and can afford to just lynch them both and see what happens.

I think pindicator put out the best defense available. No matter if his indignation is earnest or not.

Yeah, I agree smile

The rule of thumb that's developed over the previous games(*) is that if you have an investigative role claiming someone's a wolf then you lynch the target first, as that leaves you with the useful role at the end if it's true rather than a less useful role at the end if it's false. If that makes sense? It's a lot less clear cut in this case tho (it says nothing about novice's innocence or otherwise, this particular role may change before novice can use it another time).

*(and from people being sensible & analysing it, I play by figuring it out as I go along just like I do in all games tho)

They could easily both be wolves. The only thing that's certain is that they can't both be villagers so whoever looks more suspicious outside the context of the claims should be lynched.

yes, that's why I was leaning towards novice.

and yes, pling I got that - certainly if there was one tribe it would be clear to lynch pindicator first. but with the 2 tribe dynamic I would lean toward lynching novice. then pin if novice is village (of course), or zak if novice is scum.

I accused Pindicator of being new on day 1? The heck?

I think he means you accused him of being scum day 1, and "nervous new wolf" was your reasoning - he was acting like he was new and didn't know how to play the wolf character.

I'm not gonna reread day 1 to see if he's correct though <g>.

welcome to the lurker's lounge Pindicator. if it makes ya feel better, I think you did some great acting there, I never suspected you a bit. I really hope the "I'm so offended everyone thinks I'm a wolf" bit was just that - and you keep playing future games smile.

Sometimes you just get screwed by lucky night actions. Ichabod got caught by Zak the same way in WW11, I don't think he would have been lynched otherwise.
