Turn 198

At last managed to get some time to give a report.
By the way, 2-4 turns more, and who is next?

A lot has happened, Lanuns forces are like a bug swarm of the movie starship trooper. the coastal cities where undefendable... even the one with mines of galdur, and the elemental was razed... he came with...full of....

Anyway that fleet force now is gone... completly destroyed... he only has 2 barges a little to the west.

meanwhile the east is on trouble:

lanun fleet + horse man... we already lost a couple of cities... (all the cities where poorly defended, and with low economy, i couldnt buy enough mercenaries... besides wasted the money i got trying to defend the city with the mines...)

Now this much war, and city raze made the AC go skyhigh!!! is in 93... so this is some screens of our inner status with our poorly defended cities :P

and this is a little peek at our enemies territory:

Got more info, but didnt take the screens...

Now to get on paper what we were discussing with the dwarves. sent a permanent alliance offer to them.

Now where what i will tell on diplo:
Hey little guys!!! I sent a diplomatic mission to your land with our alliance treaty to get it sign... Death to the Sea Monkeys!!!!
-Polac
-Arab
-Irish
Hey kids! I sent a diplomatic mission to the land of our alliance contract signing ... Death in Sea Monkeys !!!!

I think The Black Sword is up, and it's been about two weeks since he posted that he'd be away for about two weeks. If he can't pick up the save though, I can probably step in, though I won't be able to maintain a quick turn pace right now.

Yeah, I can pick it up now, I'll play T202 then?

Next turn: Govannon. Cash Rush.
I need all the mana. Reasons:
1: Free lvl 1 promotions, teach these to people.
2: Cave of the Ancestors. XP.

After that I can trade some back to you, including Entropy. I want to teach Rust.
However mana is better for me. Cave of the Ancestors. I'm going to whip a lot of mages.
Please think carefully what mana you really need.

The Fiddler.

Next week: Govannon. Cash Rush.
All you need mana. reasons
1: Lvl 1 free promotions, to teach these people.
2: Cave of the Ancients. XP.

Then the entropy, including something you can change. I want to teach Rust.
But Mann is best for me. Ancestors cave. I'm going to whip a series of wizards.
Please think carefully about what you really mana.

Oh, you would be wise ATM bother rushing firebows so I thought. Sure, executives, for now, I'm not even lovers now lanun building was evacuated.
Would you like to gold, or should I? Things upgrade / I'll be by your side nothing at all, but I think I have a good glass modifiers.
Well enough to leave the Navy, at least until I was in my city, and I can regrow staff. Roads are constantly surprised by the trade.

The Amurites have been struck down by Armageddon. Their army is scattered to the winds and people have fled from the cities.

Lanun ships prowl the waters, the ports lie abandoned. Fire, once the symbol of Amurite power is now used by the enemy.

Mercenaries, savages, and worse terrorise the land.

The demon-worshipers are numerous and multiply.

They have taken the elvish homeland.

The light grows dim in the free realms.

But all hope is not yet lost! A great alliance has been forged with the free dwarves of the east.

And a hero may yet emerge.

Once again we have no hope of matching the Lanun economically. We need to build an army, and fast, and see what we can do. Next turn I want to cash rush Govannon. Then I revolt to City States/Slavery and we begin whipping as much as possible. We have almost the perfect traits for this situation; Arcane,Spiritual and Financial. We have 5 cities with mage guilds, 1 needs a Cave of the Ancestors. These will build potent adepts, who can upgrade to instant mages if I keep enough mana from the dwarves. Almost everywhere else has a Temple of Kilmorph and will whip Stonewardens, starting with favoured, mobility and 2xp from the Dwarves' Form of the Titan. Govannon will teach them lvl 1 spells and they can take an immediate lvl 2 one. Better than firebows who have to choose between mobility and a spell. The few remaining cities can just build scouts/warriors for upgrade or to cast the mundane lvl 1 spells that Govannon teachs. Most important is probably to get Death for a Bone Wall and Rust, we want as many casts of that per turn to stop these mithril weapons. My front cities are still on Firebows for the moment for the higher strength and city defense, as we try to get a critical mass together.

With the influx of tech from the Luchuirp, we have no need to tech anymore, We have 5k beakers towards Strength of Will, that much again to research and only 2 mages between us. Better to cash rush and upgrade. I rushed some forges which were almost built in some the adept cities this turn, as well as a firebow, while keeping the necessary gold for Govannon.

Also of note: floating eye beats the Noctis, I didn't know that, one problem solved.

Realistically, this probably won't work, but we can give it a shot. Wish I could have rushed Govannon this turn but the extra mana from the dwarves will be key, it starts him off with a couple of free promos so he can take some archmage spells(read:snowfall) as well as teaching. We probably have to hope the Lanun play this a bit cautiously too.
