Wut ? No idea what this means, I think we should guess glass soon

Ugh.

Oh, maybe Plot was one of our words. Like, plot on a map = "dab smack in the middle of X" . Very tenuous, but I have no idea what Hes was going for.

Fighter in hindsight is an excellent word for smack. But seriously, I will stake everything on honey. I should have just pointed to it, I'm that confident in it

My roleplaying skills come to use...

Shillelagh is a bludgeoning weapon of some sort. In a game setting, guards in a medieval-fantasy castle some guards were armed with an 'oaken shillelagh'.

STAFF pretty much has to be one.
Other could actually be BAR from this clue (as well as the 3rd thermometer clue). A solid bar of iron. But I don't know enough about shillelagh to know if they can be of metal as well as wood.

Also, GLASS. It should probably have gone before lab, but oh well.

I'm with GLASS > STAFF anytime...then perhaps BAR.

Or perhaps not. Other possible, partially plausible shillelagh words:
FIGHTER - wields one. Pretty like, actually. Lowered because this was talked about as a blue clue.
TAP - Well the guards might tap your shoulder with them.

Dont know if Leprechauns wield them, if they are used in temples. And perhaps they are typically used by a footman. Or used by a chiropractor to break a spine.

Sorry in advance for confusing post. Hopefully someone else knows more about this...word.

So as I see it, this clue has to be interpreted as Irish/Gaelic word for something => that thing, and something Irish. Otherwise, why not use a more common word? Therefore, I'm sure we're after Leprechaun, plus... whatever Shillelagh actually means. Damn, I should know that really.

After reading Molach's spoiler (which dredged up vague memories along the same lines), Staff seems the most likely option. Though if they're made out of oak presumably they are closer to a club than a staff.

I still like Glass for our second thermometer word and would be happy for us to go for Leprechaun - Glass - Staff.

I go to sleep now, but also concur with rho's post. Those 3.

GLASS as first guess, actually. Since no lab, glass has even better chance of being one of the 2 missing T words. While either Leprechaun or Staff might be off target if we're unlucky

I don't know much of the word... but after reading spoilers I've heard of it. Also we should start to point to words. I think we have consensus to

point to Glass
point to Leprechaun
point to Staff
