Liberace was a piano player, so IVORY seems a good candidate. Nothing else leaps out at me...surely Dave wouldn't be going for PRINCESS for the fabulous connection?

I think we should go for IVORY and back to SKYSCRAPER, then think about another word.

I've heard the name Liberace, but I don't know anything about him.

If he was a piano player, as you say, then IVORY is a good guess.
(Can you tell me more? Where did he live? What time period?)
And I'm happy to go back to SKYSCRAPER after that.

He was a very flamboyant musician who was later revealed to be homosexual. He wore flashy outfits like sequined jackets. He also always had a candelabra on top of the piano, and I was hoping to find CANDLE or something on the board, but no dice.
