Civ6 PBEM3 Organizing Thread

I accidentally clicked on bacchus thread with my clumsy fingers. I just saw the first two posts briefly, so hopefully there is no damage done.

Hey there...I've played my turn but something seems to be wrong with PYDT.  The client reports an unspecified error when attempting to upload the file and the website reports an unspecified error when I browse to the game page.  I'll try to upload the save in a little bit (or first thing tomorrow morning) and advise when the site behaves.

Update: On my second attempt the issue appears to be site-wide. It gives an error regardless of the page I try to go to. I'll try again in the morning (UTC 11:00 or so)

Thank you for the update, in case it is not working we can also send it around Emailwise but it is a lot more convenient using PYDT

In PBEM 2 same issues, maybe wait a bit till it resolves?

Yes certainly, PYDT is just that convenient and if we once start sending the save per email instead, I highly doubt tha we will find a way to get it back into PYDT later.

PYDT's website seemed to be back to normal this morning.  I uploaded the save via the web interface with no issues, so we're back to normal.

Hey gang,

I wanted to provide a good amount of advance notice.  I'm going to be a away from my computer on July 7th and 8th so will not be able to play my turns (birthday weekend getaway for my wife).  I'll be back on the afternoon of the 9th and can pick up the game then.

Good to knwo, thanks for the heads up. I will play from next Tuesday on UTC+8 timezone and will have a long flight Tuesday and Friday to Saturday morning where I wont be able to download the save.

I also accidentally clicked on the Lurker thread and read a half sentence until I encountered the word England and realized I am in the wrong thread.
Please, can a Lurker have a look at my thread and advise if we need to share any information or do something else.

I don't think there's anything in particular you have to do, other than consciously try to not change any decisions based on what you read. Fortunately it appears you didn't pick up much spoiler info anyway.

You might consider installing Zakalwe's Greasemonkey script to block yourself from accidentally opening threads not your own in the future: http://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/showt...p?tid=4088

Perfect thanks for the link, Mardoc. I just blocked the threads on this machine and will do so on my notebook as well.
