I dropped off the archer on the island from red tile O.  If I had dropped him off from red tile X, then I could sail to blue tile A ... and then the settler would have been able to board the galley directly from the capital ... and be able to disembark from O one turn earlier.  Sure, the archer wouldn't be in the right position ... but hey ... he has a turn or two so he can bloody well walk.

As it is, settler and worker will board next turn, sail to O and have an onboard picnic for a turn ... then disembark to settle and farm.

Sure ... first he pesters me about SD's horses, trading stuff that I don't really need (marble, stone). I then offered him horses for cow, stone and gems ... I was really only interested in the gems. Three turns into the deal, he DoW ... and I am thinking he just wants to get out of the deal a few turns early. He is in a shooting war with someone so I suppose it makes sense to get 5 turns of locked in peace from me ... but have I given any indication of any sort of aggression? NO. No units around him, no spike in power, even left unguarded workers in my land that he can see.

I don't have any foreign trade. Does anyone? Don't you need OBs for foreign trade? I am making my trade money from intercontinental trade (2g per turn per trade route ... now up to 12g per turn).
