Oh it is 100% my fault. I was arrogant. I assumed if he settled the southern city for his 5th that my 5th would beat his 6th. Two important things:
1) You proved yourself a good ded lurker by taking blame for something you had nothing to do with.
2) I think I was right! Van / chumchu did a two pop whip this turn, which I'm assuming is the settler. At the very least he didn't take the archer on warrior shot, but he brought up a warrior. I retreated back.
Demo's because it has been a bit. To note there are only 10 players now. They aren't great atm, but I don't have a city above 3 pop atm.
3rd in food is only ok considering, but again low pop. See 8th in population.
9th in soldiers I want to call out. 10th is Cairo so that helps. Also, between the war and being aggressive Rome I think I'm getting away with running a little thin.
Dead last in GNP!!!
Tech path is writing > IW > math > currency or construction
I do want a couple of libraries. Then I figure we go good old aggressive Rome war economy. I figure that I am unlikely to get KTBs from IW at any relevant point. By doing IW before math hopefully I can get 4-6 KTBs for math.
Updated micro. You can tell I kind of stopped doing it for non silver fish projects. Partially due to unknown circumstances. Partly because WAIT WHAT IS THAT OVER THERE!!!
