Not to spoil too much, but the game is surprisingly well reported. What are your plans to deal with the top dog?

Anyone have any questions? I realize it's a pretty slow and low-key game, but there's still some play here despite Krill's top dog status.

The tech pace seems really slow, even for One Of These games. How do you see that affecting this game going forward?

I think basically everyone is kind of focused on coping with that right now, actually. Eventually land does get turned into better tech rates, but at a glacial pace. Krill's Zigs mean he's not nearly as worried about maint as the rest of us, but he also has to pay huge unit costs. Thoth is the healthiest of the second-tier economies because of his smaller size, but that will get pushed behind eventually. He's opted for free AP hammers now, which will help my economy out...

The shrine isn't a huge portion of my economy *yet*, but I certainly don't sniff at it. Market coming along in the capital will help certainly as well.

Slow as its been I actually do expect to see some acceleration here in a little bit as more economy buildings come online for more of us, the age of warring is over (for now).

Anyway, here's the spread. My Theology bulb is what I have over the field, while I'm drafting now to Metal Casing (due end of next turn). As you can see Krill is cleaning up the upper portion of the tree as his reward for being top dog, Thoth mercifully sniped the MoM, and Pin just sniped the CoL religion so Krill has to either use someone else's or make the painful slog to Philosophy. Pindicator is much less gassed than he used to be and his military tech is fine, so he's still in this actually.

My own path needs an additional free 40bpt/40gpt from the Spiral Minaret and the University of Sankore, so I'm spreading my minority religions to Night Below to get up temples into Prophet-making for the Divine Right bulb, while Paper I already have access to via Theology. Next techs are probably Feudalism into Paper, unless a CoL->CS push can be fit in first.

But hey, free orphaned whales...

I realize I didn't say a lot about the "dealing with Krill" question, and I think that's because I'm a little at a loss. Nobody outside of Yuri and I appears to be highly engaged.

My capital is a sad thing that's sad, btw.

This is what I've got to build the Spiral Minaret with, while directly north gets enough workshops for UoS. I'm going to pay a lot to Thoth for the privilege of stone, if its viable. Feeling rather stuck right now.

Currently Serfdom is providing 10 commerce per turn from farms, it's getting painful to swap out for sections of whipping. In two turns I'm going to dip into a stint of Theocracy for higher level units I think, the question of Slavery is going to be a hard one.

I'm extremely glad I have the AP; it's currently giving me 34hpt:

...and Thoth has been spreading Taoism too, so the shrine is up to 19gpt. If I can manage SM and UoS I can keep up with the other economies, which is good because I no longer have expansion options beyond Krill and Thoth.
