WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

Interestingly, I think I am given a chance to name myself.

If Bigger allows, and I can do so, then I will at least have a proper human name for when I die tongue

Yep.

I think for the moment I will also change my vote from the initial jokevote of Injera to the stick.

But yes, while it isn't fully confirmed yet by bigger, I have proposed that my human name will be "Tyrion Larson"

I'm sorry. I reread what you wrote. I meant, whaaaaa?

About not going for lurkers I was thinking about this first day, wolves are prob. not lurking unless they have real life reasons to do so and said so in signup. They even had some time to communicate, for the first time, so the veteran wolves surely must have warned against lurking. And again, first day there is lots for a wolf to talk about, many 'suspicios' things to note. Later on less freedom of speech.

Later on one must deal with lurkers, vigilante-type kills against them is good. Can also use scrying powers but that keeps from being able to scry suspicious guys. So villahers - excessive lurking may cause seriups death or wasted investigations.

This was on my mind after quick readthrough. I had same thought as Q about slowcheetah, about safe follower- vote. And if Tasunke flips villager (today or sometime in the future) I'd keep my eye on those following Zak and Lewwyn on to him.

About waterbat, yeah I might be wolf buttering up. But if I were to die suddenly at least youll know I was seriuos. Last will or something

And thestick, I have no proof, little of that in these games. Just voicing suspicions to provoke a reaction. Gonna reread and digest a bit and see who Ill vote for later.

Currently waiting confirmation on the name thing.

As to how it happend, well, I was halfway thinking of giving myself a name anyways. Perhaps from a list of Great Sage names in the Planetfall mod or something.

anyways, then out of the Blue Bigger gave me a chance to name myself, so if it gets confirmed, I will have an official name smile

Hm. Crosspost with Tasunke.

So all this to enable roleplay?
Did you ask Bigger about name as a rule clarification?

Well, he said it'd just show up in the death scene/ death write up ... so I'm not even sure if it'd show up in a name scan unless he tells me otherwise :/

Still, its nice to have a name when nameless. I'd be fine being nameless (or perhaps with a cool non-human name) if I was a mindworm or something ... but merely being a "Thinker" Talent does not seem like it'd be impossible for me to get a name.

I think Bigger's offer may have been prompted by some of the votes against me, I am not sure, but I am certainly grateful. In any case, I think he gave me enough confirmation for me to say that I will certainly be called "Tyrion Larson" once I happen to die wink

and I'm not sure about roleplay perse ... as I'd loved to have roleplayed, for instance, either a mindworm or an arsonist.

But I certainly do feel better to have a name to go along with my generic humanity.

I think this is good. This fits exactly with my previous games as a wolf - start out eager, get gradually more reserved. Although thinking more about it, I guess it's dependent on your normal style. Players like Lewwyn, Sareln and Selrahc typically start out lurking and start weighing in more when the accumulated evidence mounts.

Speaking of which - Selrahc, where is that vote you promised us?
I have to run.
