It's turn 93 now. Pyramids are due eot100.
I got unlucky with a barb axe that occupied my gold mine. I lost a chariot at 80% odds and then an archer at 50% odds (Axe was left at 2.7/5 after beating the chariot). The axe is now at 2/5 and I have another chariot able to attack next turn. Anyway, it looks like my gold will be pillaged.

This is annoying because I need to delay growth in some cities, I would rather spend worker turns chopping pyramids than rehooking gold, and I was already low on soldier count.

Other than that, not much to report. Scooter founded confucianism and Pindicator adopted Caste System. I guess he lost the coinflip, poor guy. Krill has gotten a hindu spread, maybe he'll spread my religion...

Turn 97.

Lewwyn has settled a city to steal the cows from my gold city. I guess that's his way of slowing me down? I'm building axes but I will prioritize the big picture, so that city only burns if Lewwyn is overly lax in defending it.

In better news, Thoth has Alphabet and offered a map trade and OB, which I eagerly accepted. We'll have a joint road completed next turn for trade routes, we're both roading our sides of the border, so that's a nice cooperative effort.

Thoth's GNP improved vastly last turn so I guess he's already cranked up the research builds. A great scientist was born recently too, so Thoth may have bulbed Alphabet. I can get Alpha myself in 5-6 turns, but I may grab Mono first for a Rep/OR revolt.

Krill is still winning, of course.

I razed this barbarian city to keep Pindicator from taking it. It came with a worker which I should probably have had the strength of will to delete. 75% odds that Pindicators declares on me.
