Winner: Huayna Capac (his traits plus the semi-isolation and big back lines of his start should see him through, though I'd like to see some resource bubbles).
Runner Up: Shaka (before seeing the match I was undecided by combinations of 2 from Shaka, Chinngis {boy was he gimped by the start} and Huayna, but starting positions decided me) First to Die: Monty (He's a loose cannon cop on the edge, who doesn't play by the rules, and it's two days to his retirement) soon followed by Sitting Bull (the AI's get as annoyed as I do by his well poisoning ways) Number of Civs Surviving: 4 Victory Type: Space Victory Date: T327

Runner Up: Suleiman First to Die: Sitting Bull Number of Civs Surviving: 3 Victory Type: Domination Victory Date: T290 To me it seems that wonder focus has been very bad for AIs as it leads to slower growth and neighbours getting more land. The wonderbuilder here is Huana so I think Monty will benefit from having him as a neighbour by being able to expand more. Monty will probably attack either Huana or SB early as warmongers hate peaceful AIs. For his sake I hope he chooses Huana. I expect Sitting Bull to be a target of a major dogpile, since he is neighbour with Genghis, Shaka and Monty. Even his über archers can't deal with that even though I think it will be bloody for the attackers. Suleiman has imp which I think is verystrong for AIs. I believe that will somewhat hinder Shakas growth into his direction. I thnk Gilga and Sully will concentrate on killing each other on their corner of the world while the big battles are fought elsewhere. Then let's see how wrong this prediciton is...  I think vultures are a good UU in single player for early rushes or as acheap unit for construction wars. There are a lot weaker UUs than vultures. I also think that Suleiman is better than Mehmed on single player deity game with tech trading on. He has great synergy with engineering rush. |
