This looks to be less of a 'muskets beat Infantry,' more like 'raze Rusten's core coastal cities while we have naval tech parity and surprise, then keep the seas under control and go from there.' OH might have also mentioned commandos at some point? Of course, haven't been following this too closely, so might be wrong on that front.
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

OHs commando factory is up and running. I think he got the last general killing me. He showed a screenshot of it on T190
So 10 turns of production, minus time to move them to the front, means he should be able to drop at least a galleon worth. maybe two.
And my HE city had 3 generals and SoZ. Getting a second Commando pump online isn't out of the question, though it won't be soon.
Rusten has had railroad a couple turns now. If OH can get on the rails...
But Combustion is in for Rusten next turn I think, so OHs naval window is going to be very small. 50 frigates doesn't kill very many destroyers.

He needs artilery which is a damn expensive tech.I think from what rusten have he needs SM,phisics and artry which is like 30k beakers.

Indeed. For me is imposible to understand how rusten let so easy OH to control the seas.Perhaps he doesnt know what a menace those are, you need to be prepared all the time.He didnt have any info about OH navy?
As I said before i am rooting for OH , because from my opinion they had weaker land but with no offence to anyone they play the best the card they were dealt with.

I think OH and Rusten both played phenomenal games. Yes, Rusten had better starting land but OH had better starting traits (no one knew the map was going to be like this). They both used their advantage to the maximum extent possible and IMO you can’t say one played better than the other or deserves to win more than the other.
As a lurker I’m disappointed we won’t get to see the showdown this game so richly deserves, but kudos to OH. First mover advantage is so important, and he used it to bring along support. Also kudos to Rusten for taking it so well, the amount of time and energy spent on this game is unfathomable and I’d be a full tilt rage monster at Dark Savant and Commodore if I was him (not that they did anything wrong). Norwegians really are the best ![nod nod](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/nod.gif) .

This is the best pitboss from a lurker perspective in a long time. I'm glad I am not microing a 50 + city empire myself. A big thanks to all the players from me-

Gavagi and Rusten explicitly conceded in thread. pindicator seems to have, but I asked for an unambiguous yes. I sent Commodore a PM. TBW inherited his civ. Anyone else I should ask? Was trying to limit the "vote" to civs that had a snowball's chance.

Both Pindicator and Commodore have replied, to me it looks like this is it. Pindicator did propose one more turn, but Rusten says he never wants to log in again.
