Hey gang,

I'll be going on vacation as of Feb 27th and will be civless until March 9th. CFCJesterFool has agreed to take over for me during this time to keep the turns moving.

I seem to remember that there's a way to allow someone to access someone else's game via the PYDT website or client. Am I correct in that recollection and, if so, what's the process. Otherwise we'll go onto the PYDT forums and ask for a temporary player swap.

You can share your token with CFCJesterFool and he can use the client. To get your token, go to PYDT website and it is on "Your Profile" page. To put it into his client, he needs to go under the "Debug" tab and select "Clear Storage" to get rid of his token, then the client will ask him for a token and he puts in yours. This will link his client to your game.

Do I really need to play turn every 2 or 3 days? Just play your damn turn already when save arrives.

We somehow left our original turn windows by delays. I also do no think that a specific player is to blame. Apologies to pindicator if he thought I single him out.

The turn paces are all over the place.

Kaiser for instance has checked out with reporting but has sometimes very quick turnpaces.

I for one have been on the receiving end of being killed in those PBEMs and went to quick turn times.

Could we have quick talk about this?

One issue with turn pace is four Europeans squeezed into an evening window. Another issue is me playing after Pindicator ... there will always be a gap there simply due to timezones. If Pindicator plays as soon as he arrives home from work then I can (maybe) play quick turns, but nothing involved. Otherwise It doesn't matter to me whether Pindicator plays at 7pm or 3am, I'll be in bed.

Since Christmas until about a week ago we were doing consistent 1 turn every 2 days, which although not the 1/day goal was at least consistent.

Adding to Cornflakes' post, the tight window squeeze in Europe appears to be resulting in TBS passing the save to Kaiser around the time he's going to bed (looks to be about midnight CET). That results in Kaiser passing the turn to me while I'm either in bed (as happened with Turn 77) or while I'm at work (as will be likely with the current turn). I have no time in the morning to play a turn (unless it's the early game move warrior & hit next turn type stuff) and do not want to get up early for a turn that might not be there or have to play against the time pressure of getting to my job. As a result the turn sits until my own window opens at 2100 GMT.
