Meiz Wrote:@scooter. Yep, a wolf would never suspect another wolf in the public thread
You are right, of course. Fortunately, that's not at all what I said, and I can't tell if you misread what I wrote or if you are deliberately misrepresenting me to "win" your argument. I said that scenario doesn't make loads of sense - if there's a "triangle" of 3 people suspecting each other - if there are two wolves in that group, then they (or at least one of them) would direct suspicion onto someone else, as two wolves continuing to go at each other's throats when everyone highly suspects them... Well it's moderately foolish, especially when things are thinning out and the wolves are probably just trying to blend in at this point. Of course a WW would publicly suspect another WW, but in general, it's unlikely that this triangle with myself, novice, and Rowain would form if there are two wolves in our group.
Meiz Wrote:Why am I so sure on Scooter? I've used the method of identifying most likely villagers and scooter does not get to that list by far margin. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's good enough for me to suspect him.
What method is this exactly? Is it the same method that's led you to have one of the worst voting records in the whole village? I think it's genuinely funny that I was a WW last game and you were 100% convinced I was a villager, and now that I'm a villager you are 100% convinced that I am a werewolf .
My point is this... I don't understand your line of thinking at all. It goes like this:
1. I am guilty because I have a good voting record (I really don't..? I simply nailed Selrahc and not much else)
2. I am also suspicious because I have suspected people who are proven innocent (Not sure how #1 and #2 can be logically used together, but okay)
3. You are innocent because your judgment apparently sucks (to put it bluntly)
4. You have identified me as a werewolf by your judgment.
Can't you see how I think your argument makes no sense at all?

I can't put my finger on it, but I don't feel Meiz is as innocent as he tries to paint himself. Am I the only one (well, except for Rowain maybe) who feels so?
As for actual votes: Jkaen I would really like to know if he is a wolf or not. Because if he is, boy, that list of his will be a great tool to catch the others.

novice Wrote:@scooter: That makes sense thanks for spelling it out. Except you don't really suspect me, do you?
I can if you want me too.
Joking aside - I don't that much... I'm wary/cautious, but I definitely would not vote for you given the chance. So in that sense, my example is slightly imperfect... But honestly, part of the reason I don't really suspect you is because of my theory. If I did suspect you, it wouldn't make a lot of sense, therefore I think Rowain is likely to be guilty and you are likely to be not guilty. Sorry if it's confusing - I'm trying to figure out how to explain this without sounding circular. It makes sense in my head.
Basically when this triangle of ours was becoming apparent, you were sneaking up on my radar, entirely because things you were saying didn't make sense to me... By "sneaking up my radar" I mean I had figured you were a villager for awhile, and I suddenly was becoming skeptical. I then came to the conclusion that the scooter-Rowain-novice connection didn't make much sense with two werewolves, so that's a part of why I don't really suspect you. Definitely not the whole thing, but it was a factor... So my "imperfect example" is... still imperfect, but less imperfect than it seems at face value....
Alright did that make sense? Apologies if it doesn't... It's a concept that makes sense in my head but I'm having trouble communicating it clearly.

You and Jkaen are either wolves or the most stubborn people possible (and that is using nice words).
I am guilty of sucking in this game so far, but I keep the hope up and believe I can get better. Probably today already, if others join me against you
Btw. If you read my posts, you see that I have not believed Selrahc to be definitely innocent. I had suspicions for him and you, and at the moment it looks like I had two wolves pegged on day 2. Maybe I'm not that bad after all...

I don't know, to me it makes sense. All of you have been under suspicion lately, so what better way to gain cover than to accuse a wolf? Especially as it's likely that one of you three will be lynched sooner or later.

In my defense, it was day 2 in WW2 when I said that, and I hope I have learned something in this game And I'm not 100% sure (since I'm not a wolf), but you three are clearly on my top three above others, at the moment.

Scooter, I agree that I don't have much hard evidence against you. It's mostly gut feeling + I believe you can make yourself look really good by knowing the villagers and wolves. You're one of the smartest players here after all. Since my case is the weakest against you, I'm voting Rowain at the moment. I believe you and Rowain are currently trying to distance yourselves from each other to gain cover, since both have been under suspicion lately.
3. I am innocent because I know that for sure. I'm not that bad to get it wrong

Here is my almost famous list, generated by reading the whole damn thread from beginning to end a small while ago:
Most definitely innocents: Serdoa, Novice, Roland
Most likely innocents: Lewwyn, Zakalwe, Jkaen, Gold Ergo Sum
Who's left? Rowain, Scooter, Mardoc
There you have it. Disagreements, anyone?

I have to admit, I'm confused again. It seems like just about everyone's theory anymore is a set of three, and most of the arguments are based on connections rather than any specific suspicious behavior. Pretty much exactly what I tried and failed so miserably at. Are you just better than me at picking out connections between people, or is everyone being over-optimistic?
I still find Zakalwe to be suspicious. But I've got no idea who that would implicate, if he's a wolf.
And I don't understand why the quiet ones are off everyone's radar - GES, Jkaen, only Serdoa is interested in even mentioning them. Admittedly, Jkaen's list got slightly better this morning, since he had Ichabod as only a 4/10 suspicion.

Well, yes, I do kinda disagree . I just can't decide if it's because you're a wolf, or because I'm no good at letting my true villager come out. I suppose it's possible you're right about the other two suspects and wrong about one of the other eight.

Do I get a personalized crusade as well, or have you retired from the business after the pocketbeetle debacle?

Swap Gold Ergo Sum and scooter. Just because. Actually, wait - Serdoa's convinced Jkaen is a 'Wolf. So swap scooter for Jkaen.
Honestly, I don't know what the fuss is about with scooter. I must be the only one in the Village who doesn't suspect him - which doesn't look too good at first glance. Maybe we should get another 3-way tie going? I promise this time I won't ruin it this time by voting in the final seconds without catching up on the thread!
