Healing Salve: Agree with the move, especially as you are money hungry dwarves. The only time you need it is if you have some kind of super unit for the time period, lizardman, Adventurer, Early Hero, Etc.
Towns: Those things are REALLY earning their keep.
Mining: You are getting this after Hunting still right? No more tempting detours? Getting some mines up could help get out the needed Monuments and increase production overall. (Especially the Capital when you get the Brewery!)
Brewery Resources: While I don't hold out much hope for Corn you could get lucky and Rice could be in the middle section, it had jungle down there
Feeling very jealous of the nations that start with Water Mana at the Moment. That friendship with the Kuriotates will be all worth it once you beg the mana of them to get a spring adept.

Yes, mining is next. After that, maybe I'll get CoL before WotE, not sure yet. The nice thing is that we can get Mining in 3 turns, if I remember correctly. The problem with mines is low food surplus to work them. But you are right, it's time to get them already. We are dwarves, after all.
I already have a deal with Dantski for the water mana ! 10t of Water mana for Law mana for the duration he needs to build the tower of divination.
Poor Dantski lost his capital last turn. It seems that the Mistform that was attacking Jkaen wasn't killed, he just decided to leave. He was the one who helped raze Mardoc's second city and probably the one that made Dantski lose his capital.
I had a chat with Mardoc and he seemed to be mad about it, since he thinks I'm the one who freed the Mistform. Well, I popped ONE dungeon in this entire game, ONE! I got a Hill Giant and a Mistform (that I know of) as a result. I know Sciz killed a Mistform, probably the one I freed. So, is it more likely that I had a lair pop with a Hill Giant and 2 Mistforms or that all the other players also got a bad result in one of their many lair pops?
It seems that hawks can see Mistforms, so that's another plus for hunting as our tech. Maybe we can throw a lot of warriors and kill this thing once and for all.

Score!
I wonder if you could sell rivals on letting you use their cities to check for a nearby mistforms?
Yes, it has been quite some time since my last update, so I apologize. I got a whole lot of things to do in the past few days, and this game started to gain some momentum regarding the turn speed, so I wasn't able to do it.
But you haven't lost much. This whole turnset was a big crawl to tech Huntimg, which is a very expensive tech. We finally did it, though. There wasn't much happening in the cities too, since we are comitted to some very expensive builds right now.
So, without further ado, I gove you the most interesting things of my turnset:

2. The Desert Polar Bear
Well, I'm kidding, but not that much. The domestic highlight was the completion of Hunting (and the start of the deer camp in capital) and the completion of the Hindenburg Elder Council, with the hiring of a scientist specialist (still a long way to the GSci, though). Let's take a look:
Hunting Splashscreen:
Next tech was mining, due in 3 turns, according to the plan. After that, I'm still undecided between Code of Laws and Way of the Earthmother. Will have to make a decision soon, though...
Boatmurdered was building the Brewing House while we waited for Hunting to come. Now, it'll build a Hunting Lodge (+2 will definetely help), so that we can build a hunter and a hawk -> capturing animals, exploring the terrain and spotting Mistforms. Once the deer camp is finished, Boatmurdered will stop working one of the cottages to grow faster. At size 7, it'll probably work the wheat, the deer, 4 cottages and a mine (or another cottage, depending on what I need). After that, I'm planning to grow into aristofarms with further happiness boosts.
Before Hunting:
After Hunting:
Hindenburg is building a settler to found our fourth city, probably near the wines. It's currently size 4. When the furs get improved, I plan to grow it to size 5, so I can work a cottage while still getting the same production into the settler. I need 2 turns to grow and I can finish a warrior in two turns, so I'll build one more warrior. He'll work as a defender for the 4th city. The GSci is due in 20 turns.
Titanic is working one of teh incenses! It's already a productive city to the empire. We ended up working one turn of the plains tile because the plantation wasn't ready. Bad micro... ! Fortunately, the city will grow to size 4 at the same time the second plantation is ready and the market too. I have no idea about what to build in this city after the market. Probably a warrior, since I won't need a monument after I capture the bears wandering around. Mardoc has hunting too already, so I need to be fast. Fortunately, my hunters will have animal capture promotions from the get go (with agressive + apprenticeship), while Mardoc will need 5 xp to get the same thing (and he's not in apprenticeship).
In foreign news, we met Jkaen! Bombur, the brave, explored a whole lot of land. He found 2 dungeons, one in the BFC of the planned 4th city and one near Sciz. I'll see if I can pop the dungeon without diplomatic consequences with Sciz. I haven't talked to Jkaen yet, just a brief "hello" message.
Western Lands:
The dungeon...:
Apart from that, Dantski lost his capital, but he recaptured it one turn later. It's a big setback, still. Now Dantski second city is his capital and I get an annoying popup every turn about gifting him Titanic... Why would I want to do that??
Finally, the overview of the empire and the demographics:
mackoti Wrote:Nice game, I realy like this map because you have to exploit every single thing and the game is not that fast.
Hey, mackoti!
Thanks for your comment! I also like this map a lot. I had to think a lot about what to tech and what strategic decisions to take, which can get in some kind of autopilot state when facing a more common map.
The only thing that is annoying is that the save moves slowly sometimes. So, coupled with the slow pace of the game due to bad terrain we get things like taking more than 2 weeks to tech Hunting :neenernee.
I'll post a report today or tomorrow, since I think I'll play another turn today and I can do a 3-turn-update.
Just to give a little bit of info, we have copper in the capital BFC !
