Northern Isles:
Western Isles:
(There are Clams offshore the northern Western island chain, about five tiles away from Ceres)
Those connector islands have seafood, making them adequate fishing villages. There's Fur on that big island, yummy. Given the lack of Silver, I wouldn't be surprised if that's there too. Also, that's the first Tundra I've seen on this map.

Shoot the Moon gave me an interesting offer:
I decided to accept.
Sian offered OB also. I rejected, but I offered OB after finding his cities:
Shoot, Sian, and Mackoti all have Currency. Uh oh.
I'm following Nakor's Settler. It looks like it's heading to the Gold region.
In domestic news, I whipped the Worker and Settler in Pluto and Haumea. I whipped the Library in Nix. Next turn Haumea will work a Mine and plains cottage to complete a Work Boat.
I think I barely have enough cash to get Metal Casting in 3 turns. I'll build the Colossus in Charon by chopping two forests. I chose Charon because it can easily make 8 hpt between the Horses, Ivory, and Wheat. Here's the plan:
T73 Metal Casting comes in, 0/40 Forge (+8)
T74: 8/40 Forge -> WHIP -> 48/40 (+8)
T75: 0/61 Colossus, +16 overflow, +8 HPT, +40 from Forest chops
T76: 64/61 - Complete!
61 times 2.75 is 176, and Colossus (should) be 167 hammers, so I think I'm fine. I have a +175% modifier from Copper, Industrious, and Forge, right?
Demographics:
Love that cheesed GNP. I still don't know how much my Creative culture is affecting that number, though.

I decided that the ninth city will be that Corn/Banana city, 1W of the Banana. The tenth city will be that Fish/Wheat city, 1NW from the Wheat. Corn/Banana has happiness and a grassland river, while Fish/Wheat has some adequate land. I wonder if I should move the Corn city 1S, picking up jungled Rice at the expense of first ring.
I'll probably whip the Settler out of Eris at some future date.
Why do I keep worrying about first ring when I'm Creative? I think it's just me wanting the cities to be running quickly.

This turn was uneventful, just cruising to Metal Casting, which I don't think I'll be able to complete next turn. Hydra will be settled next turn.
I realized that with a Forge, I only need to get to 140/300 on the MoM. Now all I need to do now is prechop those Forests...
I'll transfer one of the Workers to roading towards the Corn, and have three workers chopping at Pluto. I'm not quite sure how to organize the 5 workers by Makemake-Ceres, but I think at least two of them will start roading towards the Wheat.
I've run out of arable land by Makemake-Ceres, unless I chop some forests.
Nakor is about to jump to nine cities:
Scratch the Sheep spot.
Sian's jumped ahead of me in score, probably due to his ten cities. Incidentally, what do I need to do to get trade routes with Sian? I have Sailing and have defogged a path to one of his cities:
He has routes on me, so what's going on?

I managed to squeeze out Metal Casting EOT, though at the cost of delaying Hydra one turn. Oh well, the Fishing Boat wasn't in position yet anyway. I want that Colossus! I'm surprised Mackoti hasn't grabbed it yet. I'm losing the land grab, so I'll just take to the seas.
Sian has 11 cities. Um, wow. Currency is only 4t at breakeven, but I need to hit Iron Working first (2t breakeven). I think I'll spit out two Settlers, one from Eris and one from Ceres. I have the Worker labor, military protection, and economy to do so, so I think I should. After Currency, I think I'll head up to Code of Laws.
Confucianism was founded last turn. Do religions give points?
I found out that Sian's city that I defogged a path to wasn't connected to his capital, so that might be one reason I don't have trade up yet. I'm sailing my Work Boat west to try to find his capital.
Crop Yield is still highest, but 0% research now is 5th on the GNP scale, probably because people are discovering Currency. I'm not sure who's winning this right now, Mackoti with Currency and Calendar, Sian with his 11 cities, or Shoot with 9 cities and Calendar. I hope I can put myself on that list sometime soon...

(Copied from the temporary forum)
Many things have happened in world affairs. Mackousin got the Mausoleum, someone founded Confucianism, and Shoot the Moon proved the world was round. I didn't know you could do that on Torodial.
And I still can't get my hands on a religion. Again.
The Colossus run is going according to schedule. Unless someone gets it on the interturn or I screwed up my math, the Colossus is mine.
Hydra was founded last turn, and the Fish were netted this turn:
The Settler for Namaka was created EOT, and the city will be founded T76. (No, the name is Hawaiian, not Japanese)
Eris will whip Hi'iaka's settler next turn. I'll probably chop out a Forge in Ceres and Eris.
Pluto and Haumea are waiting for the whip anger to wear off before whipping Forges. Makemake and Charon already whipped their Forges.
With the failgold from MoM, I had enough money for Currency. I decided to head for Currency before Iron Working, as it'd give more of an immediate benefit. Besides, IW is only 2t. Currency comes in T76.
I still can't get intercontinental trade. At least I'll be able to get routes with Mackoti.
The center of the jungle has mostly filled up, depriving me of the Marble and Gems there:
I'm also slowly slipping in Crop Yield, during the turn I'd fallen down to third! Was growing into ridiculous levels of unhappiness a bad move?
For this report, I decided to actually start my sentences with 'I.' I've noticed that I usually drop that...
The Colossus completed:
Nice! I can't believe Mackoti didn't take it, he's had Metal Casting for the past forever. (At least I think he got Metal Casting; he got Oracle and I doubt Industrious would take something other than Metal Casting. He didn't grab CoL or CS, since he didn't get Confucianism or Bureaucracy)
Namaka was settled:
The Wheat will be farmed next turn. I goofed slightly, I should have queued up a Work Boat. I'll chop it out after the Farm.
I discovered Currency, shooting breakeven research to 100 BPT. 0% research is about 85 GPT, but still 4th in GNP. I one-turned Iron Working, since I'll need to clear Hi'iaka's jungle.
I think the tech path should be Monk Techs->Code of Laws->Monarchy. I don't need Code of Laws right this second, since I'm still busy building Forges, Lighthouses, and need to move on to Markets. Maybe swap Monarchy for Civil Service, I don't know.
Hi'iaka will be settled in two turns:
I decided to move it 1S, since first-ring food probably isn't that important as a Creative leader. Also, the game seems to have moved past the 'speed over everything else' phase. I'm prechopping a Forest on that hill. I love doing that when possible.
EOT, I discovered my source of Iron:
Nix just became a lot better.
The cities:
The Forge was just whipped. I'll head up to a Market after that.
Ditto. Haumea looks like it's making enough commerce to make a Market worthwhile.
Same here, except the Forge was whipped a while ago.
I'm going to chop a Forge here, then work on that Market.
Forge, then Lighthouse.
Here, I'm not quite sure what to build. The Forge is done, but there aren't many water tiles for that Lighthouse, and Charon isn't making enough money for a Market to be worthwhile. Maybe I should have built Wealth.
OH THE HUMANITY. Trading a 2/0/1 Grassland cottage to get 2/0/3 coast tiles up one turn sooner seemed like a good deal. And of course Iron turns out to be on that tile.
Not much to say here, I'm waiting for enough people to grow here to whip into a Granary, then a Lighthouse, then... Moai Statues?
And since Bigger noted that no one else is reporting, here are overview shots of what I've discovered of my continent:
Demographics:
I lost 1st in Crop Yield to Shoot the Moon and someone else (I think it's Sian). First in Soldiers, so I guess that means I'm safe for the moment. Still first in Population, but it's tight.
I've noticed that in SP I usually skip the Monk tree and the Literature/Music tree to head straight for Civil Service and Liberalism. I also don't usually use Specialists or Religion much. Here in MP, I still don't have Mysticism, haven't generated a single Great Person, and don't have a single religion. I wonder if I should go for Literature/Music, though. Those are tasty wonders, and I might actually have enough tech to build them.

This turn was extremely uneventful. I started storing up cash, and just realized that was a bad idea since I'm heading to Mysticism. Oh well. Hi'iaka will be settled next turn, with a chop going into it the turn it's settled. The Jungle on the Banana will be cleared next turn, and the Plantation will be built soon after that.
I'm probably not going to chop the Forge at Eris, since I don't have the natural hammers to complete it.
Also, I'm out of mainland expansion room, but Nakor and Mackoti still have expansion room between them. I'm not sure what the long term plan is, besides CoL. Bulb Machinary->Maces? Colonize islands and use Cothons? Tech and wait?

Hi'iaka was settled this turn. The Jungled Bananas were chopped and will be improved and hooked up shortly. I funneled a chop into a Granary on Hi'iaka's first turn of existence.
At Charon, I swapped off of a Lighthouse so that I'd be able to two-pop whip it instead of one-pop whip it. Seemed like a good idea. I sunk hammers into a Market, but I should've sunk them into a Galley.
I finally realized why I'm first or second in Crop Yield with 10 cities against Sian's 13; Sian doesn't have Calendar. I also realized why I'm not getting intercontinental trade. Since I declared war, the 'Prolonged Peace' is low enough that intercontinental trade isn't worth more than trade on the same continent. I need to find TheMusicMan.

T80, I whipped a bunch of infrastructure out. Forge in nix, lighthouse in Charon and ceres, market in makemake. The bananas got hookeddup. Buddhism spread to Charon, I'll convert after I have org religion. I'll try to get a work boat and settler onto the connector island chains for city 11.

I converted to Buddhism this turn, and will swap to Organized Religion next turn to start pumping missionaries in Charon. I whipped markets in Pluto, Haumea, and Eris.
I queued up a Settler in Makemake for the island city. The Settler completes in 3 turns after I get out of anarchy.
