I think I'll resettle the barb city or settle 1W of it, ie. NW of the sheep. The pigs will be pretty inaccessible and easy to steal though, so I might as well settle on the plains hill. It will be a much faster starter too than a city 1E of the bananas.

N of the sheep looks good, if you wanted a sane option. Long term, maybe you can aim for another city N of the bananas.

I logged in and changed my tech to Horseback Riding. I need proper mobile units, my empire is thin and wide and threatened on all sides. I can tech Alphabet with representation specialists afterwards. The OB with Thoth were a shot in the arm too.

I won in about 80% of my tests, often handily, and it would be easy to abort if my first few axe vs. axe attacks went poorly, so I attacked.

It went well:



My two shock axe vs. healthy axe attacks damaged Lewwyn's axes enough that the rest was easy. Also my Axe vs. shock spear battles at 63% odds left my axes very healthy.

I'll continue to build up power. My objective vs. Lewwyn has been achieved, but I'm not sure I really want or need peace immediately, I need to think about it. So I'll see what Lewwyn does. I don't know who a 10t forced peace favours right now. Serdoa is building up his power, I'm not sure who his target is. He might want to punish Lewwyn for aggressive settling too, or he might want to finish off Pindicator, or he might even be going for another target.

What would be really good was if I could build up my power while skirmishing with Lewwyn and then hit Krill hard. I don't think he'll be duped so easily though. Also, I imagine he has Feudalism any time now, racing to that is Krill's trademark.

Here's an oddity - Pindicator still lacks two contacts.

Nice! Stupid plant from Lewwyn that needed to be punished. What are the power levels of your opponents? Any other wars there?

No other wars at the moment. Powerwise, Serdoa has about 220k, I have around 180k, and the rest have around 140k. Serdoa's graph is pointing steeply upwards.
