Thats an idea..
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

That tech thread stuff is mighty entertaining. I hope they border each other.

Just post that stuff all in here. This is your NEW lurker thread!
So anyway... Carthage. I was torn between Carthage and Mongolia. Carthage was by far the better start as going BW-Agriculture sounds like the best plan, while going Workboat-worker will probably also work out well. I MIGHT sim the opening turns to make sure, but im sure workboat first will give me a better advantage.
Mongols if i was inland would have been my choice. Although i really dont like copying what others have played recently.. i might go Charlemagne .. OR Mao i think if they are available. My neighbors always end up at war with me for some reason, so having decent self-trade routes sounds like a good idea.

Wish i had chosen creative just a smidge.. But either way, 2nd city is probably the marble/fish city which will probably be the cottage city. Followed by the gems/pig city as my 3rd, then Cow/fish/rice city as 4th? Hmm
