Commodore and Miguelito seems to be incredible lucky, finding a tech in a hut in T1 already..

Huts are disabled in the PBs over at Civforum, as they can tip the balance massively..

I guess RB prefers games to be more unpredictable?

They normally are here too. Commodore specifically has been starting games with them on recently and people seem to be joining them. I think there is a certain element of nostalgia, a certain element of some people having played a lot of games and wanting a change, an element of people wanting to play more games, and an element of people forgetting the downsides.

I'm happy to play with huts on for once, let's see how it goes.. the games over at Civforum have become quite "static" due to no huts, but I still love the way the Civ4 MP games are playing out, and I'm looking forward to be part of RB's game "universe" too, as I've quite some time usually to kill here :D

Not only English Japan, but also Korean Rome.. Xist10 is VERY nearby me.. (found another map in the hut, unlucky me.. but at least I know now where he is)

But what the, he founded Rome ON SHEEPS!

   

I'm thinking if a warrior rush could work.. However, that would delay my worker... mmmmm... 9 turns to reach him... we're in T7 now, and a warrior would take 4T to be built at least.. nope, that's not going to work... by T20 he has at least one warrior, no matter what.

So, I'll continue the way I planned..

Bananas found. Seems a city right on the bananas wouldn't be bad (but no 3 food, right?) - but then, against the Roman, I need a hill position or his Imperial Legions will crush my poor peacekeepers.

And the Indian found me, guess he's in my North..

No more huts then, I assume.. that sucks...

Founding on a natural 3f tile (like Grass bananas) will give a 3f site. Features (jungle, floodplains) are deleted and ignored.
