Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

I took more screenshots but for some reason my browser refuses to embed them. Very strange. Will try posting them later.

Hah, that Superdeath fur city and your northern corn city would be generating -1 relations every turn if you were AI.

Thanks for the screenshots.

Yeah, you can see why I am jumping for that dogpile opportunity Nauf offers. This is not going to last.

I'm curious how you decided for HA rush with Egypt, and then against Mjmd over the tasty newbie in the west. Just because nobody would see it coming?

The natural distances on this map are large and Ricky did almost no expansion, so he was rather far away. Mjmd, on the other hand, settled right on my border, in the spots where I wanted to settle myself.
HA rush - I had leftover gold after I failed to get Oracle, so I decided to put it into HBR. When I go for Oracle, this is sort of my standard backup plan. And War Chariots are good but a mix of War Chariots and HAs is even better. Strategically speaking, there was nothing particularly wrong with what I was doing (nothing particularly inspired either, just standard stuff), it is just the execution was piss poor.

I am low-key enjoying the game fyi. Naufragar betrayed me but I somehow survived a war with aggressive Rome at peak strength. Superdeath helped me a bit, I suspect he deleted six of his cats at one point for some reason - at least I cannot otherwise explain how they disappeared. Now he even returned fish-for-fish. After two extremely costly and unsuccessful wars I am very, very far behind everyone except GT who is collapsing (and whose last act in this game was sabotaging my dogpile against SD because of course). But there is no internal pressure to perform and I can play sandbox until mjmd gets knights (soon, I think), and if he gets entangled with greenline maybe a little longer. Also, people adapt my religion over the Apostolic Palace one which is funny - I think they do not perceive me as a threat and are not afraid to feed my shrine.

Sometimes it can be quite refreshing to build away in peace, it's just important to create side quests to keep interested in the game.

So, GT is collapsing but instead of defending his own cities, he does this.
[Rant deleted. Apologies to those who saw it.]

If it helps, we're all as mystified as you are.
