Monty or Boudicca of Vikings is such a one trick pony combo. Yes, you have very fast ships and deadly medieval raiders to put on galleons, but your entire role in the game is just going to be raiding #1 for the benefit of #2 and #3.

It's a small game, and the players can all reach each other by water, which some of them have guessed from the starting screenshot. It's not out of the question that a Vikings player could get successful raids on everybody.

It's also a defensive pick - if you're Vikings then you can't get raided by the Vikings.

Commodore has identified the remedy though: Don't settle anything permanent on the coast.

I do wonder how they'll react when borders pop on T5.

I wonder why there's a soldier disrepancy here? We all have the same techs, but someone has 1k more soldiers than everyone else. That's not a mistake, right?

Somebody has settled both cities and thus have 1K more from pop.
