Oh, so his rating got inflated by pub-stomping? That's why he wasn't audited and they had to stumble on it by accident (Andrew complained of bad map-luck so the YOLO settler game was looked at to check that and see if they could fix the map-maker). People would have loved to find the secret sauce if his rating was legit.

Bad attitude + fog-of-war hacks being undetectable if you are not dumb (which he would be after being BUSTED!!!) is what pushed this into a perma-ban.

He made another video. Not as obvious but allowing scout to go AFK after the last city-state, with so few units, is a bit too much.

He got banned for leaking PMs.

I think the rest of the mod team is mailing it in because there is no way to stop fog-of-war hacks. So, they cannot win anyway. This causes them to be lazy and him not to respect the rest of the mod team. He didn't care about being banned because he wanted to quit anyway.

The way to stop fog-of-war hacks is to not use P2P and instead use a host. Because this isn't possible Civ6 shouldn't have $$$ tournaments at all. The team is deliberately ignoring the problem so the tournaments can keep going even though they don't deserve to.

LOL it was 11-5 in FAVOR of him but he is still banned anyway. CivPlayer's is just Canucksoldier's trophy and not a community at all. I would vote to ban him because leaking PMs is not okay but would resign when he is banned anyway. What's the point of admin team when 11-5 loses?

That original Herson video kind of got me back into Civ6, I have the iOS version thanks to our Netflix subscription, and it runs surprisingly okay so long as you stick to small map sizes.
