I think the biggest thing about getting wikis going is getting all the templates up and in place for people to use. Once we figure out what we need them for and get them worked out things should get easier.
Also, bear in mind this isn't going to be instantaneous. We still have to wait for KoP to stop playing HG:L so he can see about getting the software loaded on the server (once he/we/whoever decide(s) on which package to use - though if I had to guess I would say MediaWiki is the most likely candidate), and then it'll take a while to get everything sorted (people to run each game section, basic info pages, etc.) and started to the point where the main page makes sense. In the meantime, you can check out places like Wikipedia or other wiki sites to get an idea of how they're composed since they will let you see the wiki source code for each page (as opposed to viewing the html source of a page, which is quite different). Edit: found this article on guildwiki (unofficial Guild Wars wiki site) that has some easy access wiki commands and formatting, if that helps anyone.

I am still looking into it. I am thinking MediaWiki too since we are somewhat familiar with it already if only from using both (Un)official GW wiki.

Not to be a nag, but what would your best guess for an eta be?

Is "soon" a reasonable answer? It has taken longer than even I would like, but it's on the burner.
KoP
ETA mostly likely in a week, or 2 if I have to do more nagging.
Should we just go with the white paper look, or matching look to the RB front door? Come to think of it, maybe we want a new skin for the forum too? Leave Comments Here __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ KoP
I don't like the colour scheme at the front of the site. It looks like a paint job for a spacies machine in 1979. The soft colouring of the GW branch might look good, although that may not suit the non-GW RB'ers either.
