Domain of Anguish

We tried that. Key being "a little". It's still insane. [Image: frown.gif]

Farming is managable if that's your cup of tea. But key parts of the quests more or less require one practically invincible character to survive.

I wouldn't even look at heroes barring distance bonders/spirits/trappers and the like.

Ragnar - 12 Spear, 12+2 Strength, 9 Norn, 8 Deldrimor, 4 Lightbringer (now 5)

Ursan Blessing, Drunken Master and Signet of Strength are the main skills. Lightbringers Gaze, Signet of Return and Dolyak Signet see limited use from time to time and there are a couple of low adrenal spear attacks.

Ursan strike is doing 88, 88 on Margonites for me at the moment and criticals for 176, 176.

The rest of the build is just multi-layered shouting and some more damage. Goren tanks with Soldier's Defense and "Watch Yourself!", Morgahn is my Command shouter and provides a few conditions and a critical hit buff, Hayda is my Motivation shouter and provides group covering heals.

A slight tweak to the build makes this quartet ready for Shadow Nexus as well. With two Paragons and two Warriors I've stuck RB on the daily scoreboard in the 200's. thumbsup

Henchies for ?/8 groups have been Devona, Sogolon, Mhenlo and Khim. Khim's a decent defender and Mhenlo runs around the place being a decoy and trying to heal himself if he gets a chance to stop.

Update: Drasca and I have managed to clear out the City of Torc'qua and kill Lord Jadoth for a Primeval Armor Remnant and Margonite Gemstone each.

A marginal shift of my build was accompanied by Drasca's rather squishie looking dual-Mesmer lineup with one Ele hero and one Paragon hero in tow.

The group build was not very well synergized to be honest. We both needed to snuff out any Monks we found, but while I had a horrible time courtesy of any Mesmers (and the Necro's were foiling the shouts with Vocal Minority), Drasca's squishie half of the group was often getting pounded on by break-away Warriors. It would have been easier with a less-divisive split on who our priority targets should be.

I want to try that level again with an Ursan and strongly shout focused mix throughout the group if possible. Mass hex removal is desirable there two, so plenty of room for a supportive back line.

Hey, I totally forgot GWEN had new skills! I read "Overpowered PvE skills" and had luxons/sunspears on the mind. You can tell I've made it far in that campaign. [Image: tongue.gif]
