Well duh, I can't really complain because I have plenty of time to play several training games (only one success - Extermination - with Meklars on Easy), dying over and over on Average difficulty.

99% if you're dying on average, you're not expanding fast enough.

Much funnier is the fact that I try to prove myself by going to prove my worth on Average by playing as Mrrshans that do not have any growth edge - although I try to make tech, not war. Which makes me fall into the category of "weak pushover".

The same quirk I do in Civilization IV. I do not make progress past Monarch and failed about 212 games since my last win (on Gourmet Menu epic). Possibly because my leader just does not fit for what I'm trying to play.

Holy crap.

I was trying to improve, and chosen Humans on average map with five opponents. I got a rather nice start and expanded quickly. Meklars and Silicoids were expanding like it's no tommorrow, but I soon have had a supremacy. I eliminated Mrrshans and Darloks. I was friends with the Ruthless Meklars all the frippin' time.

And then... Meklars invade me with all their fleet, which had, to my shock, some funny, blurry graphics which could mean only trouble. Sol had only one missile base. Help!

Of course, I wanted to reclaim the planet. But Meklars have thought how bad it is to reclaim your possessions and they just rolled over me.

Waah-waah-waaaah.

HI there, I am new to the forum even thou I am a lurker since some time now...I ended up here lookig for Sirian but was unable to contact him.

I am a long time MOO fan, even thou....I definitely SUCK at it (at least compared to the veterans here I guess...let's hope I am underestimating myself)

I think I'll give a shot at this imperium anyway and maybe I'll be good euff to merge in this community and enhance my gameplay.

Welcome! I haven't heard from Sirian in ages either. Perhaps we'll manage to turn him up in the future with more MOO games though.
