Updated a handful of units and prettied up the table a little. Please let me know how what you think of the new Nightblades.

what are these "Half Giants"? Is that a new unit, or is that just something I never saw before?
I think the night blades are good, but I'll have to see how they really work in a game.

I decided to change halfling bowmen into slingers and slingers into half-giants. It's hard to make both bowmen and slingers interesting units, so I made another melee unit instead. The graphics for slingers work better for a melee unit than the graphics for bowmen, so I switched them around a bit.

I really like the golems. They are the walking tanks I always wanted. They have incredible defense but fairly mediocre attack. I think they look very well designed.
Elven Lords I'm fairly concerned about. With +3 to hit, they average 4.8 dmg/figure. That's 14.4 damage for the unit. For comparison:
Paladins: 3.6/figure, 7.2/unit (1/2 dmg of Elven Lords)
Minotaur: 6.4/unit
I listed Paladin because they have some very similar specials. Minotaur just as a baseline high-end unit. Buff-wise, +attack helps Elven Lords more than other units, +to hit helps other units more. Of course, +attack tends to be more common than +to hit.

What do the symbols - and . mean?
Does it mean that Trolls do not have regeneration anymore?
Or do War Mammoths no longer have Wall Crusher?

I do like the +3 to hit (and it's already +2 in vanilla), but I agree they should be toned down a little.

Or do War Mammoths no longer have Wall Crusher? . means nothing (used for ranged only, I could put a 0 instead if you like) and - means I didn't get that far yet
Trolls still have regeneration, but I haven't done anything on them yet. War Mammoth probably has wall crusher, but don't know what to do with it. In general, any unit with fleshed out stats also has correctly allocated specials.

Looking at the alternatives, I always find asking myself:
Could the game offer better protection from ranged attacks, without making the unit overpowered?
That seems a classical problem in MoM: lack of mid-way defense. Large Shield is poor (and you really cannot make it too strong), Missile immunity is massive. Elemental armor is not bad, but comes too late. Magic immunity... you know that all. (Weapon immunity - that can be corrected at least to make a +10 bonus.)
Now, a small idea (without seeing practical consequences yet) : Would not it be cool to have a "Righteous" ability? I think I saw some flags that are still free in the unit description. 'Righteous' means immunity from red and black magic attacks, but no immunity from spells (maybe I am wrong here?). I could really imagine a righteous Paladin, who would not be overpowered at all. Mid-way at its best, strong but having vulnerable spots.

Having the effects from Righteousness on Paladins would be very cool indeed. Are you saying that you have a number of free slots you can use for anything, or that you can somehow attach the righteousness flag to a unit?
Btw correcting weapon immunity to be +10 is high on my wish list.
