Met India. They had one city and three pop less than I did when I met them, so their expansion seems to be a bit slow at this point. I'm going to assume they are posting diplo conversations in their thread, so I'm not going to. No reason not to be friendly at this point -- it's not like either of us could go to war or something even if we wanted to. Any hostility at this point will just slow both of us down.

I'm now up to 5 workers and three cities, with a whole lot of overflow (and a chop) coming in at my capital next turn which will allow me to either get out another settler or another worker depending on what I choose to do.

Having met Kyan last turn and Rego this turn, I have now met everyone in the game. More known tech bonuses for me.

I actually beat Nospace by a turn to meeting everyone (we have an agreement to tell when we met people, and I met Kyan 12 hours and thus 1t before they did unless they delayed in telling me). Not that I'm going to post that in the U.N. thread as people don't need to know our agreement or that I was first to meet everyone

I'm falling a bit behind in city count, but I have two settlers coming out soon and will follow that up with a couple more, so I should have a nice wave of expansion coming out soon to hopefully catch up. For the most part I have the workers out to do that, so that shouldn't be an issue. I knew that at least two people were going to be researching it roughly 10t ago, so I decided to do monarchy before currency to allow those to research it and give me the known tech bonus.

Yeah, so I feel like a bit of a douche. I'm sure others have covered it in more detail, but basically we all got together and agreed to close borders with nospace as their gnp is ridiculous. Anyway, in those discussions, I mentioned that we should possibly wait 1t to do it, as they had a GM sitting 1 tile away from one of my cities and wouldn't want them getting pissed off and using it to scout me instead of just going to the city. Of course, everyone else talks me into just killing the GM. I honestly feel bad about that as I had said they could use my city. Couldn't really convince everyone else to allow nospace to get some 700 gold if I could prevent it though.

Novice and Spaceman, when you read this, in all honesty I had no intention of double-crossing you when I said you could use my city. All this diplo stuff just happened today completely by chance -- probably at the worst possible time for your GM. I don't feel bad about dogpiling on you with everyone else, as that had to be done, but do feel bad I had previously said you could use my city.

Anyway, in game wise, I'm sure nospace will seek some revenge on me, so I'm building more military.
