Ok, sorry you didn't say so earlier when I asked in my original message. We'll see how many takers we get over there - people from there might be interested in participating here instead.

Missed that bit. I may run my own game towards the end of the month after my exams. And there's nothing to say that I can't silently lurk you over on CFC.

No problem. It's just that I think a good SG needs at least four participants, especially if we are to discuss and plan a lot.
Ok, no takers on CFC, so I'm going to roll up a few starts to select from tomorrow morning.
Standard size, normal speed? Wildlands, raging barbs, living world? (I like all three.) All uniques or random? Are everyone OK with Capria, or should we go for Varn Gosam or maybe Falamar? (The Bannor, the Lanun, and the Malakim seems to be the most open-ended civs in playstyle to me).
If you're prioritising flexibility, then you definitely want the Malakim (but in my experience they can be a bit hard to pull off). Bannor probably play almost exactly like any BTS civ until you reach Crusade, which is a bit dull. If you're playing base FFH2 then I'd actually suggest a civ that has some different mechanics - Ljosalfar, Elohim... Kuriotates are a bit more complex, but I assume you're trying to avoid warmonger civs.
Alternatively you could try the Amurites, they tend to play a bit more like a normal BTS civ, but firebows come at just the right point to be a lot of fun. kjn Wrote:Ok, no takers on CFC, so I'm going to roll up a few starts to select from tomorrow morning. Are you bringing it back here or is it staying on CFC?
